Reviewed By peter452012The room was clean and well maintained but quite small. It was just an overnight stay so was not a problem. The weather was windy and cold so drove around instead of taking some great walks around the harbour. Robe is a really nice town. The motel is quite expensive though, and seems to have been newly converted from another dwelling. Friendly staff.

As it’s the last minute booking, we got the last unit left which is an inter-connected double bedroom unit, it got two sets of everything with a shared shower and toilet. Each room is quite large with beds, table & chairs, TV, fridge, microwave, kettle, plates and bowls, etc. most of things a traveler needs. Plunger and instant coffee, fresh milk, tea bags and biscuits are provided. It's nothing fancy at this place but it’s practical and clean, as well as comfortable. BTW, Shower water is good with plenty pressure. The TV in the room is rather small, with my eye sight, I won't be able to watch it from bed. But I'm not there to watch TV, so it's no drama.

Walked to the restaurant & visited a couple of the local pubs. Would definitely stay again & for longer. Highly recommend!

Opened in August 2014, Crossroads Ecomotel is a newly built motel offering affordable quality accommodation in Port Augusta. The energy efficient buildings feature rammed earth, double glazing and SIPs to keep the heat and noise out and comfort in. Spacious rooms with kitchenette, ensuite, king bed, reverse cycle AC, large outdoor deck, leather lounge & 40" wall mounted TV. We receive lots of compliments on how comfortable the beds are and how good guests have slept. Many stay an extra night and most plan their return to stay with us again. We also have 2 rooms that are pet friendly (pets allowed in the rooms) but please call us to check availability.

Booked it because it looked really good in the photos, and it's even better in person. Don't let the exterior put you off. Unbelievably good value, a beautiful modern and comfortable room for under $140 a night. We had room 11 and the decor was really tasteful - the rammed earth walls were gorgeous and the room just had a nice, relaxing feel to it. Amazingly comfortable pillows and king bed, lovely leather sofa, big TV, good wifi, kitchenette with microwave, bathroom with fantastic shower, private outdoor patio area (was too cold to use it, but would be great in warmer weather), and good block-out curtains. It was also very quiet despite being on the highway, 24-hour Coles Express across the road, and free parking at your room door. The man at reception was friendly. We've stayed at places not as good as this that cost four times as much. Can't fault this one and wouldn't stay anywhere else in Port Augusta if we are ever there again.

Reviewed By FirstcharmedoneI could only stay 1 night as I had a very early start at work and a concert the night before. Slept really well. Made the booking per phone as a last minute thing. Got a great discount. Staff were lovely. Room, although older, was well kept with no mold in the bathroom.

While dated looking from the outside, inside, the room was more modern. The room was very clean and comfortable. Shower was excellent - water pressure strong. Modern bathroom with a separate toilet. The pool looked very inviting - although heated, as the weather was chilly was not game to go in. Will have to come back in warmer weather! We had dinner and breakfast in the bistro. Very quick and friendly service. Food was enjoyable. No complaints at all.

Decent location with good rooms and quality service
Reviewed By Anish-Babu PStayed at this hotel during our trip to Adelaide. Parking facilities are a bit cramped, but otherwise reasonable. The reception is reasonably responsive and friendly. The day we checked in, the clerk had bad breath, but we won't hold that against her. She was courteous and happy to answer questions. She did forget to give us wi-fi details and I went back later to get them. Must've been a busy week. Our room was well located as per my booking request and was set up very well. Cleanliness and hygiene were first class and what was included with the room was pretty good. One thing I did find surprising and a notch annoying was that although the rooms were non-smoking, ashtrays were set up along the corridors. One ashtray was near our door, and our eyes filled with tears as the acrid smoke from someone smoking next to our door wafted in... I did go out and suggest to the smoker that it would be nice to not smoke near someone's door, and he did oblige. So that was that. The in-house pool looked nice, but we were out most of the days and it was too cold during the evenings for a swim. The in-house restaurant menu looked ok, but we never got around to trying it -- besides, during our stay the chef caught COVID-19 and services were paused. We wished chef and all the staff a safe period ahead. Overall this hotel is good value for money, and the location is decent. There is a shopping area with cafes within 5 minutes drive, parking is good, wi-fi is decent, room services are nice, linen is great, hygiene is top notch and the management seemed quite helpful while we were there. I'm glad we chose this place for our Adelaide trip -- I've been to various other Ibis hotels on many occasions, and they're usually good.

Reviewed By Twowellls123Room was adequate however TV was second rate. Couldn’t even access local channel 7. Sign out the front says Foxtel - wrong - must be out of date sign. In this day and age one expects basic TV as core service. Nice place to say if you don’t watch TV.
