Reviewed By gfd840Great location close to the slopes, excellent service at the breakfast room. Service at the reception varies from rude to great. Restaurant downstairs does not take reservations for groups under 6 people, so super long queues during high season.

Nice stay with an astonishing view
Reviewed By MrsMasalinQuite far from everytihing else, bit really worth the drive. The scenery, the view from the top, they are just amazing! We stayed one night in the panoramic guest house which had its own jacuzzi. Verh nice accommodation on a pictoresque landscape. The owners were absolutely warm and welcoming and serivce was good! Check in quite late, only at 4 p.m. No owen in the cottage and the final touches of luxus missing. Otherwise really worth the try and the drive! We truly enjoyed ourselves.

The heart of the kitchen is a charcoal grill where culinary professionals prepare mouth-watering dishes. The restaurant has seating for 60 customers. Relax in the peaceful atmosphere of Zen Spa after an active day outside! Our Zen Spa has the log sauna with the northern lights ceiling. Spa can be reserved also for private occasions and a range of spa treatments can be provided on demands. The cosy atmosphere of Lounge Bar at Hotel Aateli is perfect for the “after ski” evenings. Reviewed By cami800We stayed one night and were pleasantly surprised of this new hotel. Our room had a very cute little sauna which was perfect for the two of us after a long day of driving. The room was very nicely decorated, everything looked like it was done with quality and atmosphere in mind. The huge bed was one of the most comfortable ones I’ve had in hotels. A nice addition was also the big balcony and it was super quiet there. The only small downside in this room was the ”all in one” shapoo/shower gel dispenser, which didn’t match the overal quality feeling of the room.

Set over 3 buildings, Karolineburg Manor House Hotel offers rooms with a flat-screen TV and a small refrigerator. Some feature a private sauna. A daily breakfast is served in the main building. Pretty outside
Reviewed By heinakenkaOn the way from north to south, we chose Kajaani as a place for the night. The homepage of the hotel gives a picture of a beautiful and idyllic mansion and from the outside it is so. Rooms in the outbuildings range from quite a basement bunker to a mansion-style. We first got a room in the basement of the house opposite the main building. The interior is to say the least ugly and the sauna does not save the situation (picture of red furniture). We got to move to a side mansion where the rooms are more mansion type. A beautiful room but the smell of moisture and mold is something you would not want to experience in a hotel room. The pictures show the condition of the bathroom. The upholstery of the fine chair tears and otherwise everything is almost there. The advertised coffee and tea assortment turned out to be a couple of tea bags and quick coffee. In the rooms, ventilation is switched on at the clock switch, so when the time runs out, the air does not change. This contributes to the risk of moisture damage. A rich breakfast turned out to be quite a basic set. The porridge was cold when the burners in the boiler were not on. The porridge was taken back to the oven to warm up but the bulbs were still not lit. Likewise, the melted butter had cooled and solidified in its vessel. All in all, the cake is beautiful on the outside. Another star for the friendly staff.

Beautiful place
Reviewed By Sara IStayed here for two nights in a small cabin. Everything was tidy and functioning, just ok for two people. They do have bigger cabins and a campsite also. Service was very friendly at all times. There were also some fireplaces, kitchen for campers and of course showers and toilets also. One very positive thing: they do recycle here. There were dedicated bins for your different types of rubbish. Would highly recommend this place and will go again.

Great simple accommodation
Reviewed By Leila MThe place was convenient if you need a place to stay without worrying about being fancy. It is a comfortable and quiet guest house, nice kitchen, clean bathrooms, and showers. Good wifi. The price is fair and the staff is super friendly. The only heads up is that if you don't have a car there, the nearest supermaket for example is quite a walk from there.
