The Old Évora Hostel is located in the historical center of Évora, inside the city walls. You can see all the main attractions of the city within a small walking distance from our hostel. Giraldo Square - 290 meters (05 minutes) Roman Temple - 800 meters (11 minutes) Cathedral - 550 meters (08 minutes) Chapel of Bones - 600 meters (08 minutes) Garcia de Resende Theater - 600 meters (08 minutes) Park - 550 meters (09 minutes) We have two buildings, very typical of this region, with different types of rooms. If you come alone, with friends or as a couple, don't worry, we've got your back!

Reviewed By Isabella IOld Evora Hostel was the perfect place! The owner was lovely! She was incredibly accommodating and happy to help in anyway she could. She made sure everyone had enough for breakfast and was always accessible. The beds and rooms are incredibly clean as well as the bathrooms. This is a great place for families, friends, couples and solo travelers. My friend and I really enjoyed our stay!

Great Location
Reviewed By Cathy WWe spent a busy weekend here, in the UNESCO recognized city of Évora. The staff (we loved Joana) are so helpful with making phone calls , answering questions and booking tours. The rooms are clean and spacious. Private rooms with private baths are easy to rent. The hostel is located inside the old walled city and close to many interesting and historical sites. Lots of common spaces for relaxation, including terraces with views. There are a few good restaurants, with indoor and outdoor tables, in the small square right in front of the hotel. Only negative was that the beds were a bit hard - but that is a personal preference.

The Hostel consists of 3 dormitories with double bunk beds and individual lockers and 1 double room. Other than Accomodation, the Hostel has several recreational and service areas: A Terrace, a Games' Room, a Reading Room and a Common Room/Sitting Area as well as Bathrooms separated by Gender. The Reception Desk is open from 07h to 22h.

Reviewed By Mari DWe enjoyed our stay in Evora and in Hostel Raymundo very much. The hostel has a very good location. Our room was very nice and clean and we had a nice view. The shared bathrooms are very clean and never busy. There is a shared kitchen and a roof terrace to enjoy the meal. Breakfast is included and very tasty. Staff is very friendly. We’d definitely come back.

Reviewed By Tuga2014Very good room / bathroom amenities. Very clean. Good breakfast. Quiet location with easy parking. Friendly staff. Great value for money. Bonus: there are several good restaurants within walking distance. It's also a short car trip to the beautiful medieval town of Monsaraz.

Quadruple room in center of town
Reviewed By GuenthmnA guest house well located in the center of town. We had a room with 4 single beds. Very comfortable mattress and soft clean sheets. Our room was on the top floor so not to much noise from the street below. Air conditioning shower etc all work well. Good price for what you get.

The facilities are immaculate, the service is spectacular and the location would be hard to beat. Breakfast is quite something. The coffee was a particular treat. Évora is interesting and there was no shortage of suggestions to get the most out of our stay.

Very unfriendly landlord
Reviewed By Klaus Zwe were passing by that appartment and out of sudden the landlord came by with some other guests. I asked him if it is possible to see the room. he opend the door of the appartment but did not allow me to enter the room. he insisted that I book a room on booking.com first. the only thing I wanted was to check the bed since I have serious back problems. then we left.

BUDGET, MODERN AND WELL LOCATED
Reviewed By PortoExplorerInteresting hostel recently opened at April 2012 in a nice antique building, tastely renovated with modern lines, near the heart of Estremoz, a nice little portuguese village in the middle of Alentejo region. Our room, modernly decorated in red colours, was spacious, clean, comfy twin bed, with a nice window facing the major street. The sound isolation wasn't the best I've seen but no big deal since Estremoz is quiet at night. There's an LCD TV with cable cannels, lots of them spanish. The minus: The bathroom wasn't as nice and modern as the the room itself - no extras, not even shampoo or shower gel, floor and utilities not the modernest as ever. There was an unfreshly smell in the room all the time. The hostel hasn't breakfast included, but they will have a contiguous room serving meals and breakfast in the future. Till then there's several cafes and Pastelarias (bakeries/pastries) nearby. The staff was kind and friendly. After all, a nice acomodation, not the best and charmly where I've been at, but with a very interesting concept - rate for double/night @ booking.com of 40€.
