After meeting your guide, the visit begins in the Carriage Museum, where you will learn the history behind the estate, the family and Mr. José Manuel de Mello, as well as his passion for Lusitano horses. This Museum is one of Monte da Ravasqueira’s greatest attractions, one that takes us way back in time. Here, you will find 37 unique pieces dating from the 18th century. We will then do a short walk through the vineyards, where we will explain the winemaking process and visit one of our most iconic vineyards "Vinha das Romãs". The experience ends with a tasting of 5 wines from ranges that best express our terroir: Reserva da Família, Vinha das Romãs and Varietals, accompanied by crackers, olives and lupin beans.

Inclusions: All Fees and Taxes, Entrance to the Carriage Museum, Walk in the vineyards, Wine Tasting of 5 wines from ranges: Clássico, Seleção do Ano and Superior.

A hot air balloon ride over the Evora countryside was the perfect start to the day. Nelson collected us from our accommodation and took us to the balloon. He was calm and very professional which put any slight fears I had to rest. Once we were up I was spellbound...silently moving across the land with panoramic views of the countryside, the cork trees, cattle and sheep. I could have stayed up there forever. Once safely landed we were treated to a glass of Cava and some Belgian waffles....a perfect trip with the ultimate professional. Thank you Nelson and Isis for such a wonderful ay

We hired Diane for a 3 hour tour. She picked us up at our hotel and was full of information about historical events & current Portuguese life. She kept us entertained with her enthusiasm and broad wealth of knowledge. As a PhD candidate she has a curiosity that covers many disciplines and loved questions. We managed to see all the main sights, plus had the advantage of cutting a very long line for the Chapel of Bones. Diane provides enough historical background that we were able to see the care put into this chapel, not just a curiosity. Great morning and would HIGHLY recommend Diane. We learned more today about Portugal as a country today than we did on the rest of our 12 day trip (and we took 5 tours previously, which we considered good). This is excellent.

The passion we feel for the city allows us to put together more than 45 stories that happened here. Stories about hate and love, courage and skill, friendship and family. Tales about our city that made it as it is today. Curiosities of the ancient everyday life, that became a tradition. Legends that became real. Stories about the most common mortals to the most important personalities in Portuguese history. Évora has been one of the most important cities of Portugal, coveted by other nations. We will unveil the most interesting mysteries that are not told in a typical Évora city tour. Let’s walk the streets while we capture the city’s beauty. We’ll stop at some places to tell you what happened there, or what connection that site has with the story that we want you to know. We may or may not enter the most well-known monuments; we do not have a scripted tour. We want you to enjoy the city while you get to know it in a more profound way. This is a unique, relaxed and unforgettable way to visit Évora, the city where the stones breed history.

The place is quite nice and huge. Shows great potential for a visit but we did not have the opportunity. We went on Thursday and there was only one employee who was not available. We waited for over 30 minutes and she was not very accomodating. We went back the next day and quite frankly she was rude. We bought some wine and went on our way. Quite disapponinting. If you can, ask for someone that is not named Ines.... (we didn't see anyone else...)

I didn't know about this tour. When I arrived in Evora I went to take a coffee in a cafeteria in front of Praça do Giraldo. When I went out I saw Sandra and a group of people and she welcome me too. When she start to talk she never stop, she really love her city and want to engage all the people. I really like the walking tour. I suggest her to everyone that want to discover the real Evora. Thanks Sandra

We enjoyed a wonderful, relaxing trek through the cork forest. Don't go expecting diverse scenery or an abundance of wildlife. This is a simple walk through nature, brought alive by our knowledgeable guide, José. What he doesn't know about the simple cork isn't worth knowing! This was followed by a sampling of their delightful wines. Their 2019 field blend is a stonker. Give the pool or vineyards a break and give this a go.
