During the afternoon, go to Sagres to see the acclaimed Fortress and visit the church inside, the sundial and the fantastic cliffs over 100 meters high. Finish the day in the Cape of St. Vincent. There you will have the opportunity to visit beautiful places such as the Ponta da Piedade cliffs, an amazing complex of caves located in the city of Lagos, the Benagil beach and the Marinha beach and cliffs. If the weather allows, you can go for a swim or take a boat ride to the caves (own expense). Sometimes the sea conditions don't allow the boats to do the tours so please keep that in mind. While in the Algarve, we can take you for a traditional meal that can go from locally sourced fish and seafood or the traditional Piri-Piri Chicken. Your day will be filled with amazing photo opportunities and beautiful scenery. Take this opportunity to get away from the big cities and enjoy a day to remember. Remember that our itinerary is flexible and we can include other sites such as the King Christ Statue in Almada on the way back if we make it there before closing time.

You know when you visit a good friend in a far-away place and they say "Yeah, I'll take the day off and we'll go somewhere cool and eat great food and see some interesting sights! I'll pick you up tomorrow at 9! p.s. wear shorts, it's gonna be a warm day" ? Well that's a tour with David Monteiro! First and foremost, David is one of the friendliest and easiest to talk with tour guides I've ever known, it's like we've known him for years. His knowledge of his own country is great, and his willingness to create a tour itinerary specific to your whims is wonderful. He knows 'that little hidden restaurant that makes fantastic (x) for lunch' which we'd *never* find on our own. His black van is awesome - spacious, clean, and big windows to see out of. Did I mention he speaks 5 languages!? His english is absolutely flawless, and his willingness to help us with our own learning of Portuguese language and its unique pronunciations is so very much appreciated. We've done a couple of other day-trip tours with David in previous weeks, too. Would give David 6 stars if I could.

We got to see such beautiful views today and learnt so much about the places and history around them thanks to our knowledgeable guide Gabriel! Highly recommend this trip. It is quite a long way from Faro but Gabriel ensures that the drive is entertaining as well.

Gabriel is lovely, he kept in touch in the run up to pick up which was at our hotel in Albufeira, He is an excellent guide and knows a lot about the area and history, He understood what we liked and showed us areas where we could photograph and enjoy, We enjoyed lunch in a little cafe in Tavira with a local sandwich and beer, He even stopped off at home and grabbed us a few oranges from his families orange trees, If you want a tour with someone who is friendly, reliable and knows Portugal then Gabriel is your man

We booked GL Tours with Gabriel for 1 day. It was our last day in Portugal and Gabtiel shown us a few great spots on the way from Lagos to Faro from which we had a flight home. Gabriel drove us right to the most attractive points of cavoreiro and Abufeira and explained where to go, what to see and where to eat. Super option for the day. No worries with the transportation, parking and looking around when you have little time. Gabriel shown us hidden gems we would probably not find ourselves. We recommend strongly.

We spend a long afternoon and evening with Filipe and it was wonderful. I highly recommend him. We visited Sintra and the amazing Perla Palace , the Quinta Regaleira and had the lovely pastry specialty of Sintra. Filipe is a very pleasant charming person to be with, he is very knowledgeable about, the area, the sites, the history and so much more. Time flies with him. We ended the evening in a great fish and seafood restaurant hanging on the side of a cliff Azenhas do Mar. If you are in Lisbon take one of his tours and enjoy.
