This is one of my grandson's favorite place to eat. No matter what time of day he will want Taco Bell. He can even order himself! It has to be the food as there is no place to play like some of the other fast food places. I have to admit I love eating here myself. I think it is a great value for your money and seldom do you have to wait long for your food.

Don't let the location deter you from coming to Rita's. The interior is charming, the food is great, and the staff is incredibly friendly! The place is so clean, you could eat off of the floor! The owner came over and visited with us and thanked us for coming. Servings are generous. We really liked the cheese enchiladas!

The Tex Mex foods are really tasty, pancakes are my husband's favorite! I love the chips and salsa- so tasty! The queso is good. The chicken enchiladas with green sauce- tomatillo sauce is my favorite. My daughter loves the chili relleno, and the tortilla soup is so comforting and yummy!

Sol De Jalisco is located conveniently on the I-35 frontage road heading north near the Loop in Temple. If you're traveling through and looking for good Tex-Mex this is a good stop. Their salsas are very good, especially the green sauce. The menudo was all right, but their extensive and unique fajita menu is the star of this show. I had the Hawaiian Fajitas with ham and pineapple and they were fantastic! The atmosphere is good and the servers are nice. You'll have a good time.

Taqueria Mexicano Grille

Reviewed By Melissa P

We were traveling through the area early in the morning and wanted a decent breakfast since we had been up for a while on our trip. We almost didn't stop as there weren't any cars outside yet, but the lights were on and people were inside. So glad we did. The service was really great to begin with. The chips and two kinds of salsa were good. I wasn't a fan of the red salsa as it had a chipotle flavor. The green sauce was my favorite of the two. I had the migas and they were definitely some of the best I've had. My husband is very discriminating when it comes to Tex-Mex. He had the huevos divorciados, and he cleaned his plate. For him to say "that was really good," well, he doesn't say that often. One of my kids ordered pancakes. I took a bite and they were fluffy and tasty as well. This really isn't far from IH-35 if you can navigate the construction in that area to exit. It's in a good location, close to Scott & White. We also noticed that they had a drive-through. I'm guessing that's a nice perk for breakfast tacos on the run. But really this is a sit-down restaurant, not fast food.

Monterey's Little Mexico

Reviewed By T1Ajahwk

This place has been our Mexican food go to place for 14 years.....until today. About 2 months ago, we went and ask for our favorite waiter,  we were told he was off, anyway we were seated and ordered drinks and an order of fajita nachos. Our drinks were brought out and the waitress said our nachos would be out soon. 30 minutes later the waitress had not returned, and we were still waiting on our food. I couldn't find the waitress or anyone to ask why it was taking so long. No one seemed to know anything about our order really care, so we got up and left. About a month later, we decided to take another chance, and everything was ok. We went today, our favorite waiter was not there, no one was at the hostess desk, after 5 minutes of waiting and other employees seeing us standing there, a guy came over and seated us. 2 other couples, 1 with a child, came in and were seated and a waitress took care of their orders right away, looked at us and walked away. After 10 minutes we got up and left. I told a waitress that if we could not receive service that we were leaving(she was 1 waitress that has been there forever) she ask where were we sitting, by this time we were so pissed that we kept walking out the door and WILL NOT be back ever. When Jesse was the mgr. he was great. Everything ran so smooth. He would come out and shake hands and talk with people, But since he left the service has sucked. It's sad the way this place has gone down hill and it's going to be hard to turn around for the good, especially after I start advertising for you. Your customers are your best....or worst advertisers. We will miss our favorite waiter, if he still works there. We'll be trying the Mexican food place next door. They seem to always have a parking lot full.
