We had lunch on a beautiful sunny weekday, with a window table with a view as good as you could get anywhere, across the enclosed swimming pool into Middle Harbour and beyond. The restaurant was about 3/4 full. Service was prompt and friendly. Some of us had oysters - chosen from 5 or 6 South Coast locations. The menu could perhaps have had a few more choices. Had my main course been as good as the oysters, to start, and the sorbets and coffee, to finish, I would have increased my score. Overall, a very pleasant experience.Hi there, thanks so much for taking the time to write a review. We are so fortunate to be located in such a gorgeous location! Our aim is to provide top quality food and service to match! Service is poor. We waited for ages for someone to come near us and then even longer for our food/drinks to arrive. It wasn't especially busy and there seemed to be plenty of serving staff around. It's a sweet little place, expensive for what it was, in a beautiful location overlooking the sea.Hopefully it will improve!

Another return visit for us to Catalina, for a special occasion. Warmly greeted on arrival by staff, with our wait staff being attentive but not intrusive. Main meals of Beef tenderloin accompanied by greens were expertly prepared and tasted delicious. Good choice of wine. Delightful lunch. Too full for dessert this time. The views are dazzling. Ripples Chowder Bay is a feast for the tastebuds - with wonderful warm service, spectacular views and a great environment - water views from all tables. My husband and I shared the calamari for entree which was delicious - perfectly cooked and really tasty - it came with a spicy aioli which was delicious.For main course, I had the beef which was beautiful - a perfect portion, cooked as requested and really tasty. My husband had the pork belly - which he said was the best ever - crunchy on the top, not too fatty - yummo. We got a serve of green beans with slivered almonds - perfect and a great combination. The chips were the only low light - not the best quality. A James Boags and Hendricks and tonic came out cold and with lime and cucumber. Our waiter was friendly, helpful and professional. A wonderful evening as always at a Bill Drakopoulos restaurant - found out a new one has opened in Balmain called The Fenwick (we'll have to try).Thank you for your feedback Nicki, we're so pleased to hear you enjoyed! We took the ferry from Circular Quay to Watsons Bay and enjoyed lunch with outdoor dining at Doyles on the Beach . We ordered the flathead fish and chips which were very good . We enjoyed a local savignon blanc and the service is great . Wonderful view of Sydney and afternoon in Watson's Bay

Had the privilege of attending a high tea at Gunners Barracks with some lovely friends. Wow what a venue, spectacular views, cocktails and of course the high tea. Couldn't fault the food (amazing) and the service was extremely good. I highly recommend this venue!

This is a lovely cafe/restaurant serving breakfast and lunches. The location is amazing and everything about the place cries out for a visit. Service is very discreet and efficient. Two minutes walk from the ferry landing.

We used to really love eating at Whitewater over the past few years but the service and quality has dramatically gone downhill.Service provided was poor at best and to top of the bad experience they actually served our meal to the wrong table, left it there for 15mins and then tried to re-serve it off the other table to me after the person had handed the food on the other table. Iâm not sure where this would be seen as acceptable food service anywhere in the world!Hi,Thank-you for taking the time to give us your feedback.
