We came for lunch on a beautiful sunny Sunday, we sat outside overlooking the stunning Indian Ocean. I didn't realise it was a cash-only bar, between us we had enough to cover our food and drinks, there is an ATM, but will charge you fees. We shared a few tapas plates which were delivered quick and the food was really nice! We had the BBQ Chicken bites, which were actual chicken tenders and delish, the sweet potato fries and Turkish break & dips were good too. A great way to end the weekend in a nice, chilled atmosphere.

We visited for an impromptu Saturday lunch (family of 2 adults and 2 young children). This is in a great location but not very busy, probably due to the overcast, windy weather on the day we visited. After being seated and reviewing the menus, my husband happened to ask whether they had any lunch specials. The waitress was surprised we hadn’t already been provided with the lunch special menu but did promptly give them to us.The specials appeared to be good value - around four or five options (burger, salad etc) including a wine, beer or soft drink for $25 each. They also had a typical kids menu - a few different options with chips for around $12 each. We ordered the special burger, special warm lamb shoulder salad, a salt and pepper calamari from the standard menu and one kids’ fish and chips. The beers were served promptly (a choice of Coors or Miller), and not too long a wait for the food either. All meals were very decent sized serves, including the kids meal which our 5 and 2 year old comfortably shared. The downside:• Salad was drenched in a lot of dressing which seemed to be predominantly made of oil.• The kids’ fish was very oily.• The chicken burger consisted of a very thin slice of chicken with a disproportionately thick coating of batter, making it very dry overall.Overall, the meal was just okay. It was good that we had an Entertainment card to use, saving us just under $20 and bringing the total bill in under $58. I would consider returning again but think some improvements could be made to make this venue and meals more appealing and better value for money.

No thrills here. Decor is very underwhelming and menu is simple. Odin offer some really good/cheap deals throughout the week which is great if it's your local. Had the $18 roast with dessert on a Sunday. Roast was nice and good value for $18, I would probably leave the dessert though as it was just some mousse wedged between two wafers.

Fantastic way to end my short stop in Perth! It is situated in such a great area with plenty of seating. It’s casual dining with great views. The seafood platter we ordered has an amazingly tasty herb lemon glaze on the squid. It was extremely crunchy and well cooked. Service was lovely and reasonably priced too!

Decided to visit for the Thursday night specials of 14$ steak night that was advertised on their website...we were told they no longer do them ...When we showed them the current website page of promos the owner told my husband “get over it ! We made a mistake ... it’s a 14 dollar steak” .the point is it’s false advertising and the unapologetic attitude of the owner did not impress us .So they have lost a couple of locals .For people reading this review, People will see we have never had a one star review before. These “customers’” were totally rude to our staff, shouting at young girls and demanding the steak despite the restaurant informing on Facebook pages weeks in adavnce that it was not available that night for a special event, signs were also at the front of the venue that the steak special had been cancelled. The owner did step in when he had heard enough of the abusive barrage this persons husband was giving the teenage staff . We will not tolerate abusive or bullying behaviour to any person in our restaurants

Sunday night and most places were busy except this one. Should have rung alarm bells but it had a good write-up in previous weekend's paper. Food extremely ordinary and you ahve to order at the counter - no table service. Only thing in its favour is the view but that only works during the day.

Grill'd

We went here for lunch on a public holiday weekend. Upon entry we were advised to grab some menus and help ourselves to a table. We sat down and began reading, when we must’ve all inadvertently tuned into a very loud conversation on the next table. A staff member was discussing vegan and vegetarian with 2 male customers. That’s all fine, but it was so loud it dominated the area. Our 2 teenagers even said “like, really....We don’t need to hear your opinions guys!”We weren’t sure if we had to order at the counter or if the staff would come to us. Surely the guy would finish his convo soon and acknowledge us. Nope. So we moved tables so we could have our own conversations, ordered at the counter, had our meals delivered, and could still hear the discussion over the music. It wasn’t the topic, it was the volume and the fact that we as customers were literally ignored by this guy for near on 20mins, when we did have a couple of questions. If he was on a break or was the manager, sit down and have a proper conversation, don’t stand there like you’re supposed to be working. The burgers were nice and the meal overall represented good value for money. We’ll visit grill’d again but hope the service is a little more friendly next time.
