Enjoyed a mid week dinner at our local Italian and we were not disappointed! Starting with complimentary arancini had us sold on ordering this as an entré. Delicious risotto balls sitting in a flavour packed bolognese were the perfect start. We followed this with the chicken and beef parma, the most tender pieces of meat we have tasted, melted in your mouth with prosciutto, plenty of sauce and cheese on top served with al dente spaghetti in that delicious bolognese sauce. 5/5 from us for the food and service! We will be back to try dessert!

Came for pizzas with the family the other night. We ordered 2 large pizzas. The owner took our order and was very helpful and obliging. Pizzas came out quickly and we ate them at the tables outside. Both pizzas were hot and and absolutely delicious. My salmon pizza was amazing. Very friendly staff and you can see them making them in front of you.i would highly recommend this place.

Dinner with friends, we chose the degustation menu. We have been to Prego before and have never been disappointed, and again we loved it. There was nothing in the dishes we sampled that we did not enjoy. My favourite was the mushroom and prawns, followed by the main of lamb. Then again, the tortellini was great, and so was the bruschetta, and the dessert... The service from Anna is excellent, and Joe, owner and chef, pops into the restaurant to say hello. Highly recommended, we will be back.Thank You Sandra for your time to write lovely review. Last minute Sunday lunch option with the family and we were not disappointed! Treated to uninterrupted ocean views in a modern setting, attended to by a largely Italian staff who are very attentive. It was great to see this place packed out, for a big area it draws a big crowd and once the food comes out itâs easy to see why. We saw many plates of antipasto come out and watched enviously as others around us enjoyed our initial rush to order our mains meant we overlooked what looks to be a very genius serving of mixed meats, will definitely be back for this! We all ordered pasta the seafood, crab and beef they were all cooked to al dente and packed with flavour and lots of sauce! Delicious! Kitchen was pumping out all sorts of treats and some amazing looking pizzas were coming from the giant wood fired oven! No tiramisu on the dessert menu but the semi Freddo was well received and tasted just like a Ferror rocher! The chocolate mousse was a big serving but was less mousse texture and more solid so a little disappointing. We have had breakfast here before and after lunch today we will definitely be back to try the pizzas and antipasto plate maybe at sunset!

Have been here so many times and never reviewed it, shame on me so thought I should now.This place is just one of those old faithfuls where you just want an enjoyable tasty Italian meal with good service that never fails.Itâs not fancy as far as decor or lighting and can get noisy sometimes but the food is always always good. I can never go past the spaghetti marinara, have never a better one. Seafood fresh, tomato base is authentic, thick and yum with freshly made pasta, what more could you ask for seriously?! Well you can have Parmesan too. The tasting plate is excellent too, with great bread, olives, feta, squid (to die for), pan fried chorizo and prosciutto hmm.The only dish I wouldnât recommend is the Caesar salad, I like anchovies and the full deal so itâs a bit lacking.Anyways we keep coming back and itâs always reliable

Great views & a casual atmosphere with friendly staff . Visited NYE and the place was busy, the staff were non stop but handled everything very well and were friendly and polite throughout. The food was enjoyed by all - some of the pasta dishes were quite rich however.Will return.

only had takeaway but not very impressed with it, 2 mussels, 2 prawns and 2 squid rings make for a very poor marinara, blood was spilled trying to divide it up

We were invited to our friends 80th Birthday last week. To our surprise there were 40 people all family and friends of our friends. The venue was great on the water, with marvellous views.There was a menu on each couple's plate, with a picture on the front of the couple whose birthday it was.Once all were seated we were presented with two bottles of wine, and two platters of antipasto on each table. ( you could order beers as well). So much food. We were asked to choose a main from a choice of three, fish, steak or pasta. All looked fabulous when they came out. The whole table was served together as were the rest of the tables What a feat, 40 people!The last course was birthday cakes. Well what a night.The ladies in the restaurant were wonderful - all smiles and nothing was too difficult. Thank you Mia Cucina for a lovely evening. We will be back..Howie WA Thankyou for taking the time to write an absolute cracker of a review for us. We are pleased you enjoyed your dining experience with us as well as enjoying the celebration with Denis and Gloria!We do like to make sure guests are well fed and not going home hungry.
