Ordered the bufalo pizza which apparently comes without a tomato sauce base (but this was not clear on menu) so it was so dry. We asked if the topping could be slid off and tomato base put on but chef said no. We even offered to pay more for it. They didn’t offer to do anything about it. We had Pre-paid so couldn’t refuse to pay. Not happy at all. Left a whole pizza less two pieces. Will not go back.

The Indi bar , average when it was built and even less than average today as nothing has changed in 50 years, ok if your into that sort of thing . Staff are generally rude and too cool for school type of kids. If your an international traveller I can almost guarantee disappointment with this place. Save your time and money and go elsewhere , absolute kip Thank you for taking your time and leaving the feedback. I am sorry to hear that you didn't enjoy your time at Indian Ocean Hotel and Indi Bar (I understand that you stayed at the hotel too). The hotel was built in 70's and we had some refurbishment done since the opening. We are just finishing to replace the windows in all the rooms. There are double glazed and sound proof. Our low prices reflect the fact that the hotel is older looking. We keep the hotel and bar clean and tidy. I am sorry to hear that you disagree with it. I would like to ensure that we don't employ any kids. The atmosphere at Indi Bar is relaxed, but our staff always stay professional and they are always happy to help. Once again, I am sorry hear your personal opinion about our staff members. It would be great if you could contact me directly and give me more details about your bad experience at Indian Ocean Hotel and Indi Bar. We were there a few night ago and were so disappointed. I ordered a Chicken Schnitzel and Chips. From my experience, whenever I ordered this meal in other places it is usually served with a very small salad. I wish i'd taken a photo of this meal. It had a minuscule amount of tomato sauce covered with the same amount of cheese. There was no punch in the flavour and the chicken was very dry possibly overcooked. More sauce would have been a blessing seeing the chicken was so dry. The Gnocchi was also very disappointing you could feel the grains of flour in your mouth. I could not have eaten that meal. Presentation was dull. I won't be returning to this one.

a group of elderly gentlemen and their good lady wives celebrated an enjoyable dinner here, had a set menu with a shared anti-pasta starting platter and then a choice of 3-4 mains and coffee nice little alfresco area that we nearly filled, maybe suggest if have a gathering that large not to book anyone else in there, a couple of tables did ask to move, not that we were loud but a group of 20 odd will make more noise than smaller groups, food very tasty and the service was good

Last minute Sunday lunch option with the family and we were not disappointed! Treated to uninterrupted ocean views in a modern setting, attended to by a largely Italian staff who are very attentive. It was great to see this place packed out, for a big area it draws a big crowd and once the food comes out it’s easy to see why. We saw many plates of antipasto come out and watched enviously as others around us enjoyed our initial rush to order our mains meant we overlooked what looks to be a very genius serving of mixed meats, will definitely be back for this! We all ordered pasta the seafood, crab and beef they were all cooked to al dente and packed with flavour and lots of sauce! Delicious! Kitchen was pumping out all sorts of treats and some amazing looking pizzas were coming from the giant wood fired oven! No tiramisu on the dessert menu but the semi Freddo was well received and tasted just like a Ferror rocher! The chocolate mousse was a big serving but was less mousse texture and more solid so a little disappointing. We have had breakfast here before and after lunch today we will definitely be back to try the pizzas and antipasto plate maybe at sunset!

Have been here so many times and never reviewed it, shame on me so thought I should now. This place is just one of those old faithfuls where you just want an enjoyable tasty Italian meal with good service that never fails. It’s not fancy as far as decor or lighting and can get noisy sometimes but the food is always always good. I can never go past the spaghetti marinara, have never a better one. Seafood fresh, tomato base is authentic, thick and yum with freshly made pasta, what more could you ask for seriously?! Well you can have Parmesan too. The tasting plate is excellent too, with great bread, olives, feta, squid (to die for), pan fried chorizo and prosciutto hmm.The only dish I wouldn’t recommend is the Caesar salad, I like anchovies and the full deal so it’s a bit lacking.Anyways we keep coming back and it’s always reliable

We were invited to our friends 80th Birthday last week. To our surprise there were 40 people all family and friends of our friends. The venue was great on the water, with marvellous views. There was a menu on each couple's plate, with a picture on the front of the couple whose birthday it was.Once all were seated we were presented with two bottles of wine, and two platters of antipasto on each table. ( you could order beers as well). So much food. We were asked to choose a main from a choice of three, fish, steak or pasta. All looked fabulous when they came out. The whole table was served together as were the rest of the tables What a feat, 40 people! The last course was birthday cakes. Well what a night. The ladies in the restaurant were wonderful - all smiles and nothing was too difficult. Thank you Mia Cucina for a lovely evening. We will be back..Howie WA Thankyou for taking the time to write an absolute cracker of a review for us. We are pleased you enjoyed your dining experience with us as well as enjoying the celebration with Denis and Gloria! We do like to make sure guests are well fed and not going home hungry. We are lucky enough to have a great team at Mia Cucina who love what they do and do it well. I look forward to your next visit.
