We were invited to this traditional Basque restaurant by our business competitors...so there's a first. The drive up from Beasain was along a serpenty road that yielded beautiful views whenever the trees allowed, however when we arrived at the top we found this great restaurant which seems to have been neglected by other trip advisor reviewers. I don't include photos of the dishes as I didn't think it appropriate to click away during this meal, but I can tell you that the selection of home cooking was good and varied and we were told that all the dishes were traditional for the area. The food was tasty and filling, the accompanying wine (a Rioja) was a perfect accompaniment to the meal and the servers very helpful. Maybe a little extra effort in cleaning the cutlery for the meal - hence only a 'very good' rating. There is also a recommended 10 kms walk around the area, which I am sure would burn off the calories - but I let that 'pleasure' pass me by.

Very nice 6 courses menu (of which 2 deserts) with a nice variety of excellent food. The only course that disappointed a bit was the pork cheek, but that was countered afterwards by an excellent dessert based on pineapple.Wine card is relatively limited but offers some very good wines at very reasonable prices.

Muy recomendable para un menú del dÃa de calidad, de en torno a 14 euros si se toma café. Los platos no cambian, son siempre los mismos, pero están muy muy buenos.

Quizás en verano sea un sitio maravilloso para ir, pero en esta época y tirando ya a invierno, pues como que ya el acceso deja mucho que desear.La comida bien, pero la verdad que caro para lo que es. El servicio amable y atento. Para estar donde está y visto precio y accesos, sorprendido que estuviese lleno.Caro.

El restaurante dispone de zona de parking relativamente fácil delante de la puerta.El acceso es mediante unas escaleras lo cual hay que tenerlo presente ante aún tipo de minusvalÃa.Arriba dispone de varias mesas y de comedor y de una buena barra.Dispone de una carta de pintxos todos con un toque especial y de una bodega bastante amplia.Los pinchos podrÃamos decir que más que un pincho es una ración.Calidad precio bien.Recomendable

Paramos a echar gasolina en esta vÃa de servicio y por casualidad entramos a comer algo. Al entrar vimos a la gente comiendo con unos platos con una pinta casera y muy buena. Nos pedimos varios menús del dÃa para probar distintos platos y aquà nuestra sorpresa cuando nos encontramos platos super ricos y super caseros a un precio de risa comparándolos con la zona de San Sebastián que es de dónde venÃamos. Los macarrones, el arroz a la cubana , las alubias..... Todo casero y muy rico. De postre probamos una tarta de queso muy rica y un flan casero qué jamás habÃa probado uno asÃ, espectacular !! El camero super atento, cercano y Agradable... y el servicio muy rápido ... sin duda la combinación perfecta !! Cada vez que me viaje por la zona sin duda pararé por aquÃ. Sin duda una grata sorpresa !!!

Nuestro segundo pincho, 2 txacolis, 1 pincho de tortilla normal, y uno de tortilla picante (dirÃa que la tortilla mas picante que he probado), en la terraza, que se estaba muy bien.

Lovely pizzas in yummy cheese !!You pay 5 Euros to 11 Euros and you get different varieties of Pizzas.Approximately. 6 Euro for small pizza, 8 euro for medium pizza and 10 euros for large pizza.Vegetarian options are also available, but this is largely meant for non-vegetarians.They do home delivery also.

Didn't expect to see a traditional Basque village bar-restaurant with such a wonderful offering incorporating local produce in both more traditional and vegan dishes. The result is a meal that can be thoroughly enjoyed by everyone in a friendly setting with unmatched and homey service.
