Really excellent but tiny restaurant in the heart of tolosa. We are a group of 8 cyclists who didnât understand the basque menu, but let the great waitress to order for us. It was absolutely delicious. The croquettes were sublime, the octopus was to die for and the steaks were amongst the best weâve ever had. Thoroughly recommend!

We had walked all morning and saw this restaurant through the trees of the attractive park off the street near the Cheese Centre (q.v.) When the guide there recommended it for lunch, we were welcomed warmly by the owner in perfect English and told we would not be disappointed to be there. We were introduced to a new white wine, fed a vegetarians' nightmare dish of ham & sausage and thoroughly spoilt. It looks a little bland inside but outside in the sunshine it was glorious. Highly, highly recommended ......

Buen sitio para tapear en la calle Urdaneta. Buenos pinchos, comida casera y buenos vinos. Buen ambiente. Y buen trato del personal. No dispone de terraza, solo una bidones para estar de pie en la calle. Acogedor.

Didn't expect to see a traditional Basque village bar-restaurant with such a wonderful offering incorporating local produce in both more traditional and vegan dishes. The result is a meal that can be thoroughly enjoyed by everyone in a friendly setting with unmatched and homey service. The menu changes often, and we look forward to having the opportunity to pop in again.
