Reviewed By nicolasvH7632WTThis was one of the best travel experiences of my life. The lodge is incredible and the nature surrounding it is absolutely amazing. Thierry and Catherine are amazing people that will go the extra mile to make you feel at home but also explain the wildlife and nature of Lapland. The activities are magical and the fact that they only work with people they trust makes it even better. We can feel that everybody they work with really cares about nature and love what they do. This is a once-in-a-lifetime adventure and the Naali Lodge is the best place to experience it.

Reviewed By Kristeltje83Where to begin!! What an incredible experience we had at Himmerki! The cottages are so cosy and have all the comfort you need! It is like a Christmas village!! The view over the lake is really nice and you can make nice walks over the frozen lake. The activities were so fun!!! We had a fantastic experience with the husky's and the guides were great and helpfull! Also they give a lot information about the life at the husky farm. The reindeer farm was also fantastic! The animals are so beautiful and kind to people! The snow scooter drive was a real adventure! We drove in the dark so you had an amazing view in the frozen forest! Our guide was also really helpfull and funny! Then the ice fishing!! What an adventure and fun was that with Oiva!! A real local with so many nice stories! The ride with him on the snow scooter was fantastic!! Then Suvi, what an incredible woman! She was always there for us in all we need and we had a really fun walk with her in the NP! She explained a lot about the park and the history! Then all the people at the reception and restaurant... Everybody is so friendly and kind and it feels like home here! Everyday we had an amazing dinner and the food is really tasty with all kind of local products! The owners Helvi and Reijo are so sweet and fantastic people! They tell you al lot about the beautiful nature and life in Finland! Definitely recommended to visit Himmerki for a real Lapland adventure in the beautiful nature and warm atmosphere! Thank you all!! We had an unforgettable time here! Kristel and Chi from Belgium and the Netherlands!

Just 20 metres from Lake Posio Järvi, this property is about 5 minutes’ from central Posio. It offers free Wi-Fi, free access to a communal sauna, as well as rooms with a flat-screen TV.Set in former school building, all rooms at Lapin Satu have a desk and private bathroom with a shower. Some also feature a fireplace and well-equipped kitchenette.A restaurant, BBQ facilities and a garden terrace can all be enjoyed on site, along with rental of bicycles and ski equipment. Lapin Satu also has a tour desk that arranges area activities.Kuusamo town centre is 50 minutes’ drive away, while Kirintövaara Ski Resort is less than 10 km from the hotel. The International Coffee Cup Museum is 3 km away.

Reviewed By Wolfgang-SepeBooked this last minute ang got positively surprised. Big room, spotless clean, friendly service, children friendly, silent location, great nature just in front of the doorstep. Posio and Lapin Satu are clearly worth a visit.

Our Wilderness Centers are located in Posio and Utsjoki, in the Finnish Lapland. We have different sizes and types of cottages and can accommodate up to 100 people at a time in our Lapiosalmi Wilderness Center, which is open all year round. Our Kenestupa Wilderness Resort is only open from June to end of September every year.
