Another holiday visit to the best Indian restaurant in town. This is a popular restaurant with locals, ex-pats and visitors and rightly so. We found this gem a few years ago and go back now every holiday. Delicious food, subtly spiced, and friendly, welcoming staff. Wouldn't be a proper visit to Funchal without going here. You would do well to book. Plus, if you book from Funchal hotel they will provide free transport to/from the restaurant.

What a friendly welcome we received and we found a lovely table on the outside balcony looking out to sea.Very friendly staff and courteous service and delicious food and a good menu. Very fresh fayre, served hot and relaxed pace and dignified ambience. Wholeheartedly recommend this high standards and quality restaurant to you all.

We had a marvellous meal at the Delhi restaurant. The owner was super friendly and the food delicious. We started with poppadoms and onion bhaji (which were beautifully light and crispy) then had a medium spiced tikka massala and a Karahi, which were both excellent. This is our second night of a week long holiday and we may visit the Delhi again it was so yummy.
