Of all the Mexican food restaurants, this is the best one. It’s a bit fresher and more authentic. It has table side guacamole.

We went to gonza expecting authentic tacos . We got that and more ! The decor is artsy and fun . The menu was a surprise . As we read about the items, we soon discovered elements of Mexican , Puerto Rican , Dominican , Colombian and even some American dishes . If you find this difficult to navigate , the staff will help, though I assure you there is no such thing as a bad dish here

Neither of us were impressed with the chips & salsa, entrees, or margaritas, but that was made only worse when after asking the server if it was okay to use a particular coupon, he later changed his story and the mgr sided with him. I promise, I am not just a jilted customer aiming to ding these guys - if the food was good, I would absolutely say so. But, it really, honestly wasn't, but that was made worse by their actions. Needless to say we won't be back.

Stayed at the Hampton and desk clerk recommended this place when we asked for a close (walking distance) local place. Chips were fresh and hot, salsa flavorful and smoky. 1800 margarita was strong and well made. Ordered combo of chicken taco and chicken enchilada, with rice and beans. Came out fast, hot and delicious. Server was friendly and efficient. Would definitely eat here again!

Las Margaritas Mexican

Some years ago, while visiting Wake Forest, a business colleague took me to Las Margaritas for dinner and I remembered that pleasant visit on a recent return to the community. I was able to locate the restaurant easily but if you have not been there before, it will probably be useful to report that it is below ground, and that you enter by a staircase off the sidewalk that takes you down into this charming place. Once inside, I was immediately led to a table and the hostess made sure that I was happy with her choice (I was). It was a busy evening, with more than one party there but the service was efficient and polite, hurried even, but I did not feel neglected. The menu choices were extensive – in a sense, the usual Tex-Mex offerings but excellent in quality and preparation. Without question, Las Margaritas is a “cut above,” well above, the usual sort of thing. Prices were most definitely reasonable, surprisingly so – this was definitely a good value. Without doubt the décor, the service, the welcoming spirit, the quality of the food, and the price all commend this restaurant to me and insure that I will return at the first opportunity.

A couple friends and I dined here on a Friday evening. We've eaten at this restaurant on another occasion. On Friday's, one of the drink specials is a 12oz. margarita for $3.99. I like my margarita frozen with salt around the rim of the glass. I had a frozen lime margarita, which was good with the complimentary salsa and homemade tortilla chips.I ordered one of the dinner specials, which was 2 tacos with rice and refried beans for $6.99. I asked for an extra order of rice as I do not like refried beans. I had one beef and one chicken hard shell taco and they were very good. You can order soft shell tacos if you wish. This restaurant offers outside dining, which is nice. However, there isn't a view to speak of, except for the parking lot. Fiesta Mexicana is located in the Youngsville Crossing shopping center at the intersection of U.S. Highway 1 and N.C. Highway 96.Our waitress was polite and she did a great job waiting on us.
