BJâs was recommended to us by as a friend as her most favourite beach bar ever. This sounds like high praise but having visited last night we agree.Being October things are starting to wind down and they serve food until 18.00 in the evening. During the summer it must be much later. I would suggest booking especially if you wanted a table at the edge of the beach which our table was.The team running the place were welcoming and unhurried but very efficient, a great combination.We all ate off the fresh fish board which was a little more expense but was first class. We didnât hold back on starters main, and two of the group had starters. For the 4 of us including all drinks and a tip it came to â¬190.Towards the end of the meal the sun set giving the most amazing set set we have seen for a long time.Well worth a visit.I am so pleased that you enjoyed your visit to Bjs and I really hope we can welcome you again soon.

We had an excellent meal at Fins, couldnât fault the staff or the service they gave. We had starters and mains and each one was delicious. The view over the beach was stunning, the atmosphere relaxed and we had a thoroughly lovely evening. Weâve eaten at some of the other local restaurants but this one is now our new favourite!

We went to this restaurant with friends who recommended. It was in such a lovely setting, right on the beach, we could touch the sand.The waiter brought a plate out to show what fish he had that evening. I had tuna, friends had prawns, fried cuttle fish strips (maybe from the freezer) and my husband had three good sized Carapau, similar to mackerel. We shared two home made desserts. All well cooked. The restaurant was open to the beach and it was a fabulous evening, watching the sun go down. It was in a quiet area. We parked in a car park and walked along the beach to it but you could park close by if you wish. Authentic Portuguese.

If it is fish you like then this is the best place to eat in on the Algarve! Not that the restaurant does not serve lovely meat and fowl dishes also.The convert choices are superb- almost a meal in themselves. Certainly you wonât need a starter if you have two or three of the couverture dishes on offer! The owner has a wine wholesale and retail business so you can expect an extensive wine list which is reasonably pricedLaura,Delsio and the rest of the staff are friendliness personified.Children are welcome as one would expect in a Portugese owned place.However the restaurant is not a bad place to go with your spouse,partner or lover- who may be one and the same person Enjoy a truly lovely meal at a reasonable price.

Now, we got things a bit wrong as we wanted to enjoy the Sunday live music with dinner. Not an option as the restaurant is downstairs with the live music on the roof. We popped up after our lovely dinner to join the throng to see the sunset. Advice is to book to sit on the roof to hear the live music and enjoy refreshments and book dinner separately. We got an Uber to take us and pick us up from Vale Do Lobo. £8 each way. When the roof area is full, itâs full. You canât join the party. Hope you enjoy this lovely place. The manager was charming, service a bit slow however enjoyed not being rushed. Will be back.

Izzyâs has long been a real favourite of ours and since Rory returned last year it certainly hasnât disappointed. We always get an amazing welcome from all of the staff and on our four visits this year we had fabulous food, service and ambiance! Their sea bass with their special lemon and garlic sauce is fantastic and another favourite is the tiger prawns. Not to be missed. Thank you to everyone there for looking after us so well. Had a wonderful time celebrating a family wedding here. Location is outstanding the wedding ceremony took place on the beach which was just beautiful. It was extremely well organised and everything seemed to flow really well.After the ceremony we move into the reception area which again is really beautiful, spotlessly clean. The staff are absolutely amazing. Nothing at all is a bother they are hard working, patient and professional. Food was outstanding I had fish which was just to die for. I can't rate this place highly enough. Thoroughly enjoyed our day here.
