We had breakfast here, with good pinchos, toast and tortilla. Good coffee too and a big glass of freshly made orange juice.Decorated with graffiti, surfboards etc. it had a loose athmosphere which you can enjoy, but don't expect something fancy. The surf dudes behind the bar were funny and did their best but were not very organised. This didn't bother us, it was fun to enjoy a good breakfast before going to the Soplana beach!

My husband and I went to The Piper's for lunch with a Spanish friend, who recommended it. It is just like an English or Irish pup, except that the food is Spanish! The staff were very pleasant and friendly, the atmosphere was fine, and the food delicious. We particularly enjoyed the pisto, which is a type of vetegable stew. We had a 'menu del dia', which was very good value. Well recommended.

Had lunch here and a few beers whilst on the way to the Getxo bridge (which is worth seeing). Beer choice and taste excellent. Food was ordinary and expensive (but lovely chips). Well worth a stop off from the great Bilbao Metroline

Very well cooked high-quality food. I was surprised by excellent selection of breads and the service was very attentive. We were perfectly advised by the head waiter. We will return for sure.

We took a day trip out of Bilbao and stopped at this place after reading TripAdvisor reviews. It is just a neighbourhood bar but the food was great. There are pintxos for â¬1 on the bar but we went for raciones including delicious and perfectly cooked solomillo and lovely muscles cabredos in a spicy sauce. A real surprise and highly recommended.
