Just what the doctor ordered! We were hungry and did not want to spend a fortune and we also wanted to enjoy the sunset. Cervecera Sopelana delivered on all accounts. We shared a chicken, some chip, some chorizo in cider and some Jamon croquettes between 4 of us and it filled us up beautifully. 3 beers and 3 ice creams and the bill only came to â¬50!! Canât complain at that, would not hesitate to return. Fast fresh food, wholesome and filling.

What a marvelous restaurant! We visited Bilbao for a wedding which then held their reception at this really nice spot. Right on Bilbaoâs beach with gorgeous sunsets most nights, this restaurant excels in providing yummy, exquisite food. Over three days, we ate a late lunch and a dinner in the dining room, and then were treated to a 6-course feast at the wedding reception. Every meal, every item served was well prepared, presented nicely, and was wonderfully tasty. We are planning a cruise that will see us in Bilbao next spring and we WILL eat here again! If you have the option for a place to eat in the area surrounding Bilbao, choosing Tamarises Izarra will make you very happy!

Set in a maritime decor, this very basic little seafood restaurant can present some of the best seafood in the area. The Itxas Gane is a little pricier than its surrounding restaurants, but it is very much worth the extra cost. Fish is presented on the menu as it arrives daily, and by availability. The seafood bisque is upper world class and a very wise choice as an entree or as a main meal. In weekends, the place gets fully booked up to an week in advance so be early! Lunch time on work days is the easiest bet, but be early as it tends to fill up. A nice view and alos a favourite place of the local Athletic Bilbao football team players.

Wonderful midday luncheon experience at Regi's new purpose-built premises in Urduliz. Five star treatment and decor: excellent cuisine and service. As to be expected, the restaurant was full (50+ seating). Two of us paid 32 euros each for a really splendid six-course selection of dishes plus delicious entrées and wine. Regi has a very enticing à la carte selection which most certainly will be tried on the next visit. Five star all the way.

Very beautiful place with a very interesting meal changing very often as they use season products.They are very warm people and fares are very OK, I mean, you can eat a lot and everything is so good that nothing seems to be expensive.I recomend it without any doubt.

The entrance to this beach bar, once you find it, doesnât display a welcome, but a list of things that arenât allowed... the barely veiled hostility towards guests continues inside with indifferent bar staff, dim lighting and grubby tables. Prices seem very high, we paid over â¬7 for three tiny bottles of water. Unfriendly, unpleasant and slightly depressing.

Excellent food, drink and atmosphere. I suggest the 'chuleton' (steak) and the house special 'champis' (mushrooms stuffed with a delicious flavoursome creamy sauce). All the food from the menu is cooked to order, and arrives piping hot within a reasonable time. Special thanks to Juan, Carlos and Juana for making our meals extra good :)Excelente comida, bebidas y ambiente. Recomendo el chuletón y la especialidad de casa, los champis, que eran buenÃsimos. Toda la comida de la carta es cocinado al orden, y llega a la mesa caliente y en un tiempo corto. Eskerrik asko a Juan, Carlos y Juana por unas cenas inolvidables :)
