We ordered three steak and one chicken meals. Overall, one out of four was nice. Medium steak was way too blue, well done steak was like boot leather and the chicken tasted like oiled breadcrumbs (not chicken). Don't know if we will return.

Wow what an incredible surprise. The caravan park which also has some camping and Glamping sites⦠And they have a restaurant with simply incredible foodâ¦Lunch was very very good. Highly recommend the soft tacos (with fish), and also soba noodle salad⦠But even the Asian greens was simply superb⦠Very large menu for even a great restaurant⦠That far exceeded our expectations for this location. Very tempted for five stars⦠But simply superb⦠A great selection of deserts and coffee as well, and pizza and many other things on the normal menu as well⦠Highly recommendedâ¦

Visited for a Saturday lunch in the upstairs section. The decor and environment is much nicer than the standard âpubâ, and the menu items are more varied.The lunch meals were substantially cheaper than the night menu (which had many of the same options), and the portions were very generous. The only downside was that it took a while between ordering and receiving our meals - but Iâd prefer wait than get something quickly slapped together. We had the Legend Burger and Vege Open Grill - both were a step above usual hotel fare. I would come back again for either of them. We enjoyed the lunch more than we expected. We stayed the night at the hotel (but unfortunately didn't try the food as we were eating elsewhere for a birthday). The room was large, clean and well set out. We had a bed (just a double so quite teeny when you are used to a king), couch, fridge, tea making facilities (tea bags, uht milk etc), separate toilet and shower room. A bonus was doors leading out to seating on the balcony. It is a pub/hotel and obviously not the Sheraton but very comfortable and well worth the money. The staff were friendly and helpful and the courtesy bus was a bonus to drop us off and collect us at a local restaurant. The town has some lovely historic buildings and was nice to wander around the next morning.

We are staying in the Woombye area and decided to have dinner at the Woombye Pub. The restaurant area is large and inviting. Staff are friendly. The menu is usual pub fare. We selected schnitzel from the black board menu. Made in the restaurant, succulent and filling. It was excellent. Definitely put the Woombye hotel on your list for lunch or dinner.Hi Hef2, Thank you for taking the time to leave us a positive review. Went to the bison bar for the first time to see Rick PriceWas not disappointed, but would love to go one night when it is not as crowdedThe decor is amazing and sitting in lovely comfortable sofas made the experience even betterOn this particular night we had to wait outside for quite a while Rick Price did his sound check which was not the fault of the owners but it did start to rain and everyone was getting a little restlessChris Price is obviously a perfectionist and the quality of his show proved thisBecause of the number of people it did take a while to get drinks, but the night was still memorable And to quote Rick Price himself it is a "sexy little place"

Lunch on a Sunday. Group of 8.Service was friendly and reasonably quick. Burgers were disappointing. Dry and overcooked. I ordered a triple blue cheese burger. Rissoles blend and dry. There were only two rissoles in my triple and could not find blue cheese sauce.Wont be back.
