As a first time visitor to Jacksonville, choosing a spot for dinner was more guesswork than anything. Despite fearing that a small town Mexican restaurant would man a pile of tasteless refried beans and an overload of cheese on an otherwise tasteless plate of enchiladas, we decided to give Little Mexico a shot - and we are glad we did. The food was actually quite excellent, with a reasonable sized portion of well prepared food. I tried the enchiladas verdes with chicken. Excellent sauce and beans that were well worth eating. Wife had fish and shrimp tacos - also excellent. Highly recommended.

This place is a nice option here in Jacksonville. The food is good. The drinks are interesting and good. The atmosphere here is enjoyable. Overall we had a positive feeling and experience from this restaurant. Best Mexican food and overall experience we have had in Jacksonville.

The place was a dirty, dingy dump of a place. The health department gave a terrible review which caused the owners to close, clean up and remodel. The food is still the same and the only thing really going for this place is the location. Do Little Mexico for the food.

The kids favorite spot for junk food. Since September 2015 the frozen drink machine has been broken. We have heard it's being cleaned and we are waiting on parts every visit through January. Now instead of going to Jacksonville for Taco Bell we go to Springfield.
