Modern and clear light, the restaurant offers a good atmosphere for a good seafood meal. Located in the city center of Famalicão, this restaurant offers a reasonable sellection of fresh seafood and wide beverage options including "sangria".Small portions to share, the intention is to order several different shellfish and some bread as well. The prices are very reasonable!DO I WILL RETURN?Yes for sure and many times.

Family running business, this restaurant is an oasis in the desert! Starting with the best "bolinhos de bacalhau" i ever tasted, having a nice and confort vegetables soup and finishing with a delicious "bacalhau à casa pega", everything was really home cooking. And Ms EmÃlia and her brothers and sisters are friendly and very competent owners. The wine chart is one of the most diversified i have see in such a restaurant of this category! A real gem and great value for the money if you'd lÃke to enjoy Portuguese tradicional food. A trip outside big cities that is worth every mile!

The restaurant is located in central park of Famalicão which can be a great place for a walk after a big lunch. The staff recommended that we should go for the seafood platter and it was the best choice we made. The portions served were huge and the seafood very fresh. Great variety of seafood, cocked to perfection. Hats off!!

Alentejo's cuisine is one of the pearls to be discovered by those who love food. I'm lucky to have been raised with magnificent meals from Alentejo, but having tasted excellence, I'm often disappointed even with the highly recommended places either in Alentejo or elsewhere. It is absolutely not the case with Cansêras: the pumpkin soup was great, and I just couldn't stop eating the pork "bochechas". The wine list is an act of culture. Service and the decoration make you feel at home. Most of the food is seasonal (and brought weekly from Alentejo to the North of Portugal), so the ingredients are as fresh and natural as it should, and the taste is adjusted to the weather outside.
