Cozy and friendly place where nature and the city cohabit side by side and complement each other . great place to take a morning or evening jog, to walk to relax to lunch under a tree or simply to enjoy the landscape.
Wonderfull place to enjoy nature, with an extraordinary fauna with fish ducks rabbits and many other animals.
In summer there are many events in this place from movies to Concerts, and fitness classes for free.
i totally recomend this place.

This park is nearby my in laws house, and we usually make a walk there a few times during our visit. It's nestled by the river, has wonderful paths for walking, jogging or bike riding. There are wonderful play areas for children, some modern art for adults, and a fairly new sports pavilion that includes beach volley ball! There is also an Amphitheater where events are held thru the year. There is also a lovely snackbar and cafe as well!!

It's a beautiful and peaceful park. I work relatively close and it feels good to go there to lunch and then walk around a little bit.

Lindo espaço para fazer praia fluvial, onde o acesso tem boas condições mas conte com um grau médio/elevado pois terá de percorrer uma estrada em calçada um pouco íngreme.
Casacatas entre escarpas rochosas onde se formam as lagoas e o poço com uma cor espetacular, graças às águas límpidas.

This church is much older than the typical churches in the area and is large for a small village. It is worth the diversion off the N206. It has a car park but is very popular for weddings, so can be busy.

I lived in Santo Tirso for several years... so my opinion in here could be a little influenced by... anyway, STS is a small and quiet city with some nice atractions. The Mosteiro is one of them.
