Tried a new opening/location of an iSushi (Issaquah) on the Maple Valley Hwy by the New Life Church and Starbucks. It's a conveyer belt presentation open for lunch and dinner. Moderate prices, good flavor, good variety. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality. It was busy but not packed.
formerly bushido ramen? same decor. Different staff? Still great food. Will return; yummy food. Bought two tonkatsu ramens:* excellent noodles. not overcooked. Just right.* real broth! tastes fresh. Delightful flavor. Full body. Nice finish.* good meat.* fresh vegetables.wait staff is friendly, fast, professional, and attentive. This place would be easy to redecorate to make more intimate and hip. No loss of space either.

My son chose this restaurant to have his birthday dinner for two reasons. He wanted to have sushi and it was near the Regal Cinemas at the highlands and we were wanting to catch the Wonder Woman movie that just came out that day. So, we went and my husband kept telling me that we've visited this restaurant before already but I do not remember at all. Anyway, my first impression was the floor was a bit sticky. But anyway, we got seated right away. We ordered our dishes. The server suggested the Fire Sushi so we got that. That was a great suggestion because wow! That was prettt impressive. To me, that was the BEST SUSHI ive ever tasted. hands down! I'm not kidding! the seared salmon was just perfect. and the presentation too... with the foil on fire and all.. I'd go back for that Fire Sushi anytime. i ordered the Bulgogi Dolsot and that was extremely satisfying too. my daughter got the Grilled Teriyaki Salmon and they licked their plate clean. The others said their dishes were ok.. that's why i can't give them a 5 star. plus my son who had a birthday ordered chicken teriyaki got his order when everyone finished eating already. it came out like an hour after. that was pretty ridiculous. they didn't even apologize for it. That was a negative. if it weren't for the Fire Sushi, man this restaurant would be a serious fail.
We LOVE teriyaki and this is one of our very favorites. Just plain good teriyaki & big portions. The Gary's Special fried rice, chicken teriyaki & ramen bowl (my personal favorite). Also their rolls/sushi are VERY VERY good (my wife loves the tempura prawn roll & daughter digs the avocado roll). Its good food that won't break the bank!

From the folks that excel at dumplings with Dough Zone comes this wonderful Ramen restaurant in Issaquah. There are traditional and modern takes on this traditional Japanese noodle soup. The spicy offering was awesome, with a thick flavorful broth, savory noodles and lots of cubed pork. Very filling and very good. My wife loved her miso ramen too. We will definitely be back.

This is a great Sushi establishment. Food is perfect and fresh. The service is outstanding and very attentive. Always ready to serve you with the one of the best sushi In the East side. The chef is often creating new options but the best part is again the freshness of the food been prepared before you. It is a must try.

Kizuki Ramen's philosophy is to serve the most traditional, authentic and delicious Japanese ramen that you can possibly have without actually flying to Japan. Kizuki's food is still prepared the same way as it is in Japan; utilizing an unique method of r
The litmus test for any ramen shop is the veggie broth simply because it is very hard to get something flavorful out of veggies, unlike meat... While the topping were great and the noodles perfectly cooked, the broth was pretty average. I have had better in dinky little Texas towns! The place is modern and nice. Drink options (like shochu) are excellent. Will I be back? I don't think so.
Ordered takeout and had leftovers. Lots of rice. Lots of chicken. Flavor is good. It was great for other meals too.
