Prazeres Rurais always have food that feels like it was home-cooked. There is a slight drop in some ingredients quality (some meats in the cozido), but overall still good. The service is friendly and good price/ quality.Ecological remark: doesn't make sense to only have plastic small bottles of water. In a restaurant there is no reason to not use glass bottles.

A hidden gem in the mountains. Recently renovated. Warm and rustic. Limited menu, but freshly prepared in a wood burning kitchen, where the owner is the Chef. Delicious, wholesome and plentiful food.Can accommodate groups for functions Highly recommended!!

Visited once whilst staying fairly locally but had to pay for a taxi there and back. Went for dinner. It was large but deserted. Food portions where very large but unfortunately even though we all ordered different things none of us really liked anything ordered by any of us. The limpets are supposed to be a local popular dish but to be quite honest I found them awful. Tough and chewy. One dish consisted of a huge skewer of 'sausages' that was hung from a stand on the table. One was black pudding which I did like, but others were quite fatty especially the belly.Agradecemos o seu comentário, ficamos a aguardar o vossa próxima visita. Obrigado!
