We popped in to warm up with a cuppa but the atmosphere was so lovely and the music choice was just my cup of tea so we ended up having a few gins and a snack. The prices were relatively cheap for the area and there was an excellent selection. We tired to bring the rest of the family back there on our last day but unfortunately they were closed for staff training. I suppose it's an excuse to go back to Levi again!

It had been a while since my latest review, and I thought I was done with this TripAdvisor "hobby". Also, we had been avoiding eating here for no specific reason although we have spent a couple of evenings upstairs in the pub. Now I am sorry of not eating at Panimo before! We both chose grilled reindeer calf - just because it sounded both exotic and "suspicious". However, we thought that it can't be all bad, because it's on the menu. And what an excellent choice it was! It was so good that we wanted to eat it so slow as possible. Also, our waiter knew his job. Despite his young age, he was a pro with a capital p. We asked him to recommend a wine with the dish, and he did not only do that, but asked if he can surprise us, and then came to our table with a bottle of Spanish red wine that cannot be found from the local stores, and also, he told us about the origins of the wine in detail. Top service in every way! We will be happy to have another dinner at Panimo any time when visiting Levi!

During my business trip, I was staying in centrally located Hotel Hullu Poro(=Crazy Reindeer) and this restaurant is right there. Cozy looking interior, friendly service and real tasty dinner. I took a menu, which had Reindeer Rillette as a starter, tasty perch as a main course and then Ice Cream and coffee as a dessert. Definitely worth of visit

We made a reservation for the restaurant, and we asked for the availability of the table on the second floor by the window. The resturant confirmed the request and said arrangement will be made.After arriving at the resturant, we waited for about 20 minutes to be served at the front desk. Then we were taken to a table on the ground floor. We told them we have a reservation on the second floor, and we wait for another 5 minutes to be taken to the second floor. But the table hadnât been cleaned so we were transferred back to the front again and wait.The food was fairly good, I agree with other reviews that the portion was a little too small. But it tastes good. Personally, the price is fair, it was just the rather messy arrangement that make the whole experience average.

Renna is a pizzeria in the centre of Levi village. Handy choice for an informal dinner without table resevation for a small group.I would rather order another pizza alternative instead of their âflagshipâ Renna. In my opinion this trial in integrating great Lappish ingredients -Reindeer beef, Lappish âbread cheeseâ and Lappish berries- in a pizza has not succeeded.

From all the steak houses tested the Colorado was the best in terms of service and food. Flavours and quality is good, there are some interesting dishes such as horse steak. The Cajun salmon was very tasty and a large portion. It is advisable to book as this is a busy restaurant.

We visited Jängällä on my husband's birthday. I had made a reservation with a special wish of having sparkling wines on arrival. That was arranged, and surprisingly the wine suited very well the complimentary mushroom soup. Every other food in the 4 course menu were excellent, and although the portions were not big, we didn't have to consider any other place to eat afterwards. The total amount of food was sumptuous! The staff was also friendly and extremely professional. Indeed - this was the first visit to a restaurant, where I felt truly grateful of the overall experience and the chance of having such great food!Hi Anu. We are very pleased to hear about your positive experience here at Jängällä restaurant. We wish to see you guys soon. :)

Visited KingCrab House for the second time, a couple of years after the first visit. This time the group was a family with a small kid and it was a pleasure to see how well the restaurant coped with the kid. Colouring pens appeared to the table without asking and service was fast and flexible. Kids menu was good ans all special requests were acknowledged without a problem. We didn`t take the signature dishes with the KingCrab, since they are rather pricey but there`s a wealth of other fish and shell fish dishes which are more reasonable priced. KingCrab House is not a cheap place but food is fresh and tasty and definitely worth it`s price. We shall surely return here when visiting Levi next time.

Food was so amazing we inhaled it and I forgot to take pictures. If you like smoked fish, youâll love their salad bar. Everything was amazing! Nordic surf and turf for sure. Lots of smoked fish and perfectly cooked steak. You MUST try the garlic potatoes.

Good size menu, most are different kind of prepared reindeer meat dishes but also some others. Had the traditional sauted reindeer main which was very tasty! Recommended to try this restaurant.
