Koper (Slovene pronunciation: [ˈkoːpəɾ] ( listen)) (Italian: Capodistria) is a city in southwestern Slovenia, with the other Slovenian coastal towns Ankaran, Izola, Piran, and Portorož, situated along the country's 47-kilometre (29-mile) coastline, in the Istrian Region, approximately five kilometres (3.1 miles) from its border with Italy. Having a unique ecology and biodiversity, it is considered an important national natural resource. The city's Port of Koper is the major contributor to the economy of the eponymous city municipality. With only one percent of Slovenia having a coastline, the influence that the Port of Koper also has on tourism was a factor in Ankaran deciding to leave the municipality in a referendum in 2011 to establish its own. In 2016, the city expects 65 cruise ship arrivals (for example: Norwegian Spirit, MSC Magnifica, Norwegian Jade, MS Rhapsody of the Seas...) with the season spanning from March to December. Koper is the main urban centre of the Slovenian Istria, with a population of about 25,000.

We had a family lunch here in January 2019 and to be honest it was great. We waited a little bit longer than I expected but when the appetizers arrived the things were improved. All the food was very good, the meat was cooked perfectly and the price was very low. We decided between a dinner with seashells and Mc Donald's, finally my husband suggested that we go to Betola and certainly we didn't regret it. Hamburgers were hot, juicy and delicious. Inevitably to lick your fingers, because the sauce is excellent. Fast and friendly staff. I suggest a hamburger with Istrian truffles, it is something special. Plenty of parking space and clean toilets. Definitely we will come back. They also have an outside terrace.

Very big place, nice for groups and weddings. The food was very good, grilled meat BBQ and grilled vegetables with their very good local bier. The service was quick and professional. There was a duo playing for dancing, nice atmosphere.

Trying regular, LCHF, chips and salad we've hardly covered the menu. Attentive service (choosing the level of doneness was a welcome treat) and a lot to choose from the drink options made it a spot to definitely return to. One fault - difficult to overlook sauces left on plates that hardly stood up to the promises on the menu.

The food, snacks and other offer are good, the staff depends who serves you, but the place is always crowded and with music at a very high volume, so it's chaotic and it's difficult to hear your company talking.

The atmosphere is very pleasant, recently renovated, and inviting even crowded - as it is very popular, a reservation is obligatory. The waiting staff is very unattentive. The most disappointing fact was that the place is popular for grilled meat - but the taste is hard to stomach from not cleaning the grill regularly.

I have write a report two or even more years before. By accident I have returned. It was not been my choice and I was almost a little angry about it. However I have take the whole launch here again. Just ... at my surprise a lot has changed. A lot! The food is much much better. Whatever i have tried it was perfect. Also the staff was been far more better then before. The price of the meal has rise but I can survive if the other thing is that much better. Congrats to the owner. The moral of the story for me is that: give another chance to person maybe you can be surprised!
