In 2016, the city expects 65 cruise ship arrivals (for example: Norwegian Spirit, MSC Magnifica, Norwegian Jade, MS Rhapsody of the Seas...) with the season spanning from March to December. Koper is the main urban centre of the Slovenian Istria, with a population of about 25,000.

Was told it was the best pizza place in town. We ordered 2 different ones so's we could swap and share, what a disappointment , undercooked base and poor topping. Would not go there again and would not recommend.

The pizza base as thin as a paper but extremely tasty, light and digestable.Make sure you have some space for special desserts.. cheese cake was heavenly!

Every time I have been to Koper I come here. It is always full. Always. Because the food is just fantastic, simple, beautifully cooked and very well priced. Do not come if you are looking for haute cuisine; come if you are looking for delightfully prepared chicken, lasagne, pasta, salads, vegetables, fish and much more. It is not table service, it is your job to choose what you'd like on your plate, and then carry it the whole 2 metres to your table. Unless you're outside, then it's about 4 metres. Wonderful.

This is not an ordinary pizzeria/restaurant. The pizzeria is opened just on certain days and to eat there the reservation is a must. The reservations can be done through FB or SMS. Also the working days and available pizzas for each week is published on the FB page.But when you visit the pizzeria you start to understand the approach. Pizzas are fabulous. It is hard to pick the best one - my recommendation is to buy one piece of each pizza and then you can taste all of them.Andrea and Riccardo, who run the pizzeria, are true perfectionists and therefore want to offer their guests only the best. The pizzas on the menu are made from the finest ingredients.The dough (pasta) is the one I have eaten only in the best Neapolitan pizzerias, maybe even better.Here are some examples of ingredients which Andrea and Riccardo are using on pizzas: cherry vinaigrette, smoked swordfish, buratta, figs, lard (lardo), etc.

A very nice little restaurants that serves homemade food. The owners are a lovely slovenian couple. They are very helpful and looked after our every need. If you are in koper and want great homemade food make sure you go to mlin, you wont be dissapointed :)

Service is fast, atmosphere is nice. Food is good for what you pay so the quality/price ratio is excellent. Food is not the best or extraordinary you ever had but portions are big and tasty. Definitely a good place if you do not want to spend a lot but definitely leave with a full belly. On the menu' you can find a bit of everything: pizza, pasta, rice, soups, meat, fish, eggs, salad, desserts. In this place we love having the typical dessert from the balkans: "palaÄinke".

We enjoyed excellent family lunch in a pleasant atmosphere, served by friendly host. Soups, meat, vegetable, olive oil, desserts, all was fresh and very tasty. It's a bit out of the way. Reservation is recommended as usually the restaurant is closed at Mo, Tu and Wednesday.

Itâs mostly sea food, you can also find meat dishes. But both are so delicius (fresh) and filling that theyâre worth the price. Prices are around 10-20 per dish. And the service is so kind that youâd like to stay and chat.

We were there with the family for dinner and were absolutely stunned how great the food was. We had a fantasic 4 course dinner and enjoyed every single dish we got. The owner is a lovely person who explains everything in details, knows and loves cooking and you notice immediately that this is his passion. Excellent food and excellent service in a relaxing atmosphere with great view. We were happy that we found this little gem. Reservation is recommended as the restaurant is not that big (although we were lucky and got a seat with coming in like that, but we arrived pretty early).

It was a very busy night and the staff were rushed off their feet, but still they kept calm and maintained service. The menu comprises many seafood items that are well cooked. The food was satisfactory to good, but not overwhelmingly so. The meals tended to be on the larger side.Credit cards were accepted.
