Authentic Japanese cuisine - when I asked for an itemized receipt, the lady kindly rewrote one for me in English, as she had originally taken down my order in Japanese. I ordered for takeaway the kaarage chicken and fried rice and vegetable tempura side. I liked that the fried rice was made with cubed SPAM and the entrees came with a side of tempura green beans. This place is located between Island Cuisine and Fraiche Coffee, across the street from Starbucks and Cold Stone Creamery. They are only open until 7 p.m. and accept all credit cards. I echo what a prior reviewer had said: I wish I had come here earlier during my business trip.

I wish I'd noticed just how dirty this place was before I ate the sushi. After realizing the nastiness, I prayed I wouldn't get sick. So, I ordered a glass of red wine. The wine was good. Halfway through drinking it, I looked down and the base of the glass had a buildup of grime; like it's just been sitting collecting dust for months. With that being noticed, I looked down at the floor, dirty...just plain dirty. Napkins and straw paper under the stools at the sushi counter, the napkins they sat on the table even had stuff smeared on them. It looked like someone dropped food on the floor and just stepped in it and tracked it everywhere. Then I was facing the kitchen. They had the little black curtains pulled but the floor was completely exposed and I could see the counters as well. It was disgusting. Look, I'm just thankful that I didn't get sick. The place is shamefully dirty. With all that said, if they clean the place up, I could easily give it 4 stars. They have a great selection of sushi and the few pieces I had actually tasted good. I just won't be eating there again unless they clean up!

I am so grateful to have happened upon this little gem! The owner obviously loves her community! She obviously loves her city and she obviously loves to cook! The food is excellent! It is well-prepared with generous portions for your dollar and it is VERY fast service!

You have a panoramic view of the naval shipyard in Bremerton and on clear days the view stretches to the majestic Olympic Mountain range. Service was prompt and friendly. We were there about 4:30 and the restaurant was not busy although several people stopped to pick up food to go.The homemade pork potstickers were excellent. The bbq pork with pineapple was very good. The sweet and sour chicken was good, but had too much sauce for our liking. If we were to order it again we would ask for sauce on the side which would be better for leftovers anyway. You can sub fried rice for the white rice with your meal for $1, but it's not vegetable fried rice - just fried with egg. They serve hot tea with the meal. The fortune cookies were crisp, not stale like some. The restaurant was clean and well kept. The bathroom looked like it could use some freshening up and a fresh coat of paint.It is on the 2nd floor of the building and the entrance is in the back of the building. You'll find good Chinese food in a relaxing environment.

Visited Thai Charlie's at the recommendation of a friend, it was totally worth visiting. We love foreign foods and have found it challenging to find great restaurants that offer any up here. Thai Charlie's was easily one of the best we have found so far. We got Red Curry with Chicken and the Pineapple Fried Rice. It was all fantastic. We will definitely be returning. The place does not look like much from the outside but is a fine place to stop for some excellent Thai food!

I love Teriyaki food. There is a teriyaki restaurant directly across the street form my office. I drive a mile and a half to eat at Happy Family Teriyaki because of the awesome menu and the cleanliness of the restaurant. They offer free soup and fortune cookies with every meal. There service is very fast and the prices are very reasonable. Very much worth the drive for better food and clean restaurant.

Delicious house pho, made by ' momma'. Sons sig other had pad Thai that she ate off of for 3 days! Son had meatball and steak pho. Great amounts separated so when you bring it home you can portion the separate ingredients to you liking. Nice spice, tasty noodles, fresh veggies. A keeper

Met a friend here for lunch. Never having been before I tried the sidewalk noodles with chicken... OMG---- delish! My friend, ever the more adventurous one, had the beef tendon pho (she loved it). I would totally go back- would try something else.. just because everything I saw looked fantastic! Service was wonderful, place was busy... always a good sign.

As a vegan family it is often hard for us to find vegan friendly establishments let alone a restaurant with more than one vegan choice. The staff was very knowledgeable in veganism (not to mention VERY welcoming), the portions were generous, and the prices were very reasonable. We look forward to our next visit!!!
