Comfortable and charming hotel with an indoor pool in the centre of Mikkeli. From here, it’s easy to explore the landmarks of Mikkeli, such as the market place, harbour and Naisvuori Observation Tower. Our hotel is the perfect place to stay when you wish to sleep better and make use of the convenient location.
The looks of this hotel were old and would need a little fixing. The floor was scratchy and the whole look little nasty. Of course we didn't let this interrupt us. Customer service were really above the average Finnish 3 star hotel. We had taken room for two, but the gear of the room (blanket, pillow, glass, towel) were only made for one person. When we kindly mentioned that to the customer servant, she only answered monotonically that she maybe could bring us missing gear. She didn't look us in the eyes whole time. The breakfast was 3/5, basic and good finnish breakfast. The bed was poorly made and the sheets moved. When we left the keycard the same customer servant looked in the computer and said in a apathetic, mechanical way: Thank you for coming and have a nice day. It was hard to not laugh at this point :D

In a characterful wooden 19th-century barracks building right by the infantry museum, Jalkaväkimuseo, friendly Marja offers very pleasant apartment-style rooms and genuine welcome.
+ very spacious appartmen + very friendly staff + very nice surrounding and area on own island + very quiet + fully equipped kitchen + it was an old family house, so very interesting how people lived there in former times (division of the rooms and floor plan)

Tertti manor is a functional farm, heaven for gastronomies and cosy super food Farm hotel at the middle of beautiful lake-Finland district.
Dear Tertti Manor family! What a nice place to stay. Owner driving an old-fashioned tractor. Swallows flying by. Plenty of different types of trees and herbs in the garden. The manor has been in the same family for 140 years. The owner showed his houses and told stories about the history and fate of his family.

The room was spacious, clean the place is really quiet, windows facing beautiful pine forest. The city centre is just about 1,5 km walk away. Considering the cheap price for the room, this is really good value for money.

Contemporary 6- story Hotel with Art Deco facade, located in city center.
The standard Sokos chain service. No surprises there except route to get to the room... elevator, down the corridor, elevator...down another corridor. Good parking. Great location. I could visit again...as I have. Enough bandwidth to properly stream netflix in the evening (with covid restricted tenant capacity).

It is a huge campsite (tent, caravans, cottages) next to an amusement park. Half of the area for tents is on slope and the whole area was (during our stay) covered with freshly mowed grass which was just left there. In combination with wet weather we had grass stuck to everything (however reception staff was interested in our comments and promised to get this solved in future). Nicely made but old kitchens weren't completely clean and the showers weren't much better. There was no wifi. On the other hand a beach is part of the campsite and it was cheap (actually cheaper than we expected from the website - may be some mistake). You can also borrow few mini games from the reception (such as minigolf). During our stay, the amusement park was already closed (the season was over for them), hence, I don't know if there would be noise from it but it is just a few meters from the tenting area...

The hotel consists of two buildings - the old charming manor house and a new building, tastfully done. The yard is dominated by fine oak trees. Accommodation was fine and food as well, all clean and functional. The highlight was meatballs in the breakfast - I usually do not like them, but these were soft and delicious.

Our family has been staying in Harkaniemenen Tuvat for 10 years, a few weeks every summer. We do not have any need for a summer cabin of our own. The cottages are very well equipped, clean, lake water is clear and the surroundings safe. We never had any negative issues. A place to rest.

Did not manage to visit the place at all as our phone reservation was not registered by the owner. When we called that we are soon coming - as requested by the owner when we did the reservation - he responded by yelling and swearing, eventually hanging up. Can’t recommend the place, we got possibly the worst service which I have ever received anywhere.

2 new cottages, built 2013, named Ankkuri & Puikkari, available around the year. Also 2 older cottages available during summer time. All cottages are near lake on private beach. All cottages have own saunas and they can accommodate 3-6 person.
Was für ein wunderbares Haus in einer traumhaften und stillen Umgebung! Bereits zum zweiten Mal haben wir eine Woche im Haus "Ankkuri" verbracht. Sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet, es fehlt an nichts! Immer wieder gerne! Sehr zu empfehlen für Naturliebhaber, Ruhesuchende und Geniesser.
