The bacon wrapped meatloaf, Croque Madame sandwich and Aha Tuna Salad were favorites with our family. However the pan seared scallop was not worth the price, the one scallop with surf and turf option was a better deal. Service was slow to start due to a busy Friday night and one waiter was a no show. That initial service needs to be faster for drinks, however the food was delivered very promptly. Our family would try this restaurant again since we enjoyed the different food options. Strongly recommend to the management to get your wait staff to the tables sooner.

We were staying in Houghton and decided to visit Calumet. We stopped at the Michigan House Cafe & Brewpub for an early dinner. No crowds, good service and delicious food. I had the house hamburger with fries. The hamburger was so big I could not get it in my mouth. Cooked to perfection (med. rare) and the fries were really good too. My husband had the pulled pork sandwich with coleslaw and carmelized onions. We both left the restaurant stuffed. Stop in for a nice meal when you visit Calumet.

Some may think this place is rough around the edges. I would call this atmosphere, a classic working man's pub. A little known fact are the delicious burgers (made by hand) and real fresh fries not the frozen variety. Other food as well but burgers and fries on the menu who needs anything else! We are 65+ so may not like some of the tunes on the jukebox but we could always play something else too.

This is a great place where the public is welcome to eat , located on the Calumet Golf club grounds. There are very few places to eat between Copper Harbor, MI and Hancock, MI. You have a great view of the golf course while eating dinner. We were lucky enough for a local to give us a tip about this place. Highly recommend it.

After spending the day outdoors or on the water we invariably find ourselves hungry for pizza. Tried this on a local's recommendation and was not disappointed. Crust was well cooked and not soggy despite generous toppings. A new favorite!
