After spending the day outdoors or on the water we invariably find ourselves hungry for pizza. Tried this on a local's recommendation and was not disappointed. Crust was well cooked and not soggy despite generous toppings. A new favorite!

Since my last review, I have visited the restaurant twice. both times I have experienced both good food and exceptional service. Since I travel extensively through out Michigan, I am exposed to a variety of food and service. The Denali has a great burger for those who just want a burger, but other selections are worth trying also. I had the Waterfront, which is a stacked sliced roast beef sandwich. It wasn't just big, it was huge. I intend to continue to try the various items on the menu as I come back to the area for work. a shout out to Ashley. She may be THE most delightful service person I have experienced in years. I will certainly ask for her when I return. Thank you for a great dining experience.

Eagle Harbor, MI is not a valid city according to Trip Advisor. Eagle Harbor, MI is located close to Copper Harbor, MI. I know that this is a small town. But, they do have two hotels and a restaurant in this small town. The Eagle Harbor Inn and Restaurant

After a long morning of touring about the tip of the Keweenaw, we were getting a little peckish and decided to stop at the Eagle Harbor Inn before heading to the Great Sand Bay for some stone-hunting. What a great find! The Inn has a great "up north" atmosphere and food that will impress any of the city folk who happen by. Very fresh and interesting menu to serve all needs ... from great lunch items to fancier dinner options including steaks, ribs, and Great Lakes fish! We had French dip-style sandwiches on delicious pretzel buns with a generous portion of fries. They really hit the spot and fueled us up for an afternoon of adventure. I really wish we would have come back for dinner, too!

We were in Houghton for Winter Carnival but were staying near Calumet. When looking on Trip Advisor for a place for breakfast, this was the one of the only places that was open on a Sunday morning. It seemed to be a house that had been converted to a small restaurant. It was cozy and welcoming. The food was very good and the portions were large. I felt kind of out of place as it seemed that it was a "locals" joint, but they were friendly. Would consider going again if in the area.

Jim's Pizza & Family Restaurant

Really enjoyed following Jim & Lena's driving tips from Calumet to Copper Harbor so thought that we owed it to them to stop in at their establishment. The salad pizza was just what I was craving after days of eating fine fish, BBQ, and brats. My husband had a meat filled pizza that was also delicious! Very clean and reasonably priced restaurant.

On a recent three day trip, we visited eight restaurants in Michigan’s upper peninsula, in search of the best pasty. Connie’s makes a Cornish-style pasty and it is outstanding. My wife and I agreed the crust and filling were superior to all we sampled on our “Pasty Trail.” Happy trails.

Incredible pastry. Just across the board you can't go wrong. Tarts , cinnamon rolls everything is top notch and well worth the very affordable price. The service is also great , zero complaints. The space itself can be very overcrowded very fast , not much they can do about that though so I don't hold it against them. Just be aware it can be quite a squeeze on some days. For some time , decades , the pasties were the hallmark. The cook however has a..well let's say issue. If he isn't hung over it is still an incredible treat to be certain. If he is hungover...not so much. It is the reason I don't get my pasties here anymore and I go across town to a competitor I will not name here out of respect for everything else Toni's excel's at. Make sure to leave a nice tip as they do have the best service in town and those girls bust their ass to be sure to make sure your experience is always the best. If not for the hit or miss on the pasties I would have given it a five. But if you are looking for a breakfast in the Calumet or Laurium area I can't think of anywhere better you will find than this.

Contrary to other opinions, my husband and I enjoyed the dark hobbit hole like atmosphere. We shared the fried chicken and lake trout dinners. We thought it was good quantity and quality for the price. Excellent service was provided by a nice young lady and we would definitely return if in the area again.

We were staying in Houghton and decided to visit Calumet. We stopped at the Michigan House Cafe & Brewpub for an early dinner. No crowds, good service and delicious food. I had the house hamburger with fries. The hamburger was so big I could not get it in my mouth. Cooked to perfection (med. rare) and the fries were really good too. My husband had the pulled pork sandwich with coleslaw and carmelized onions. We both left the restaurant stuffed. Stop in for a nice meal when you visit Calumet.

The bacon wrapped meatloaf, Croque Madame sandwich and Aha Tuna Salad were favorites with our family. However the pan seared scallop was not worth the price, the one scallop with surf and turf option was a better deal. Service was slow to start due to a busy Friday night and one waiter was a no show. That initial service needs to be faster for drinks, however the food was delivered very promptly. Our family would try this restaurant again since we enjoyed the different food options. Strongly recommend to the management to get your wait staff to the tables sooner.
