Lamentablemente, la historia se repite, como siempre: cada poco tiempo nuevo personal sin conocimientos de hostelerÃa y a nadie parece importarle. Pedimos dos cortados descafeinados de máquina, y nos pusieron dos cortados con el café torrefacto (o directamente quemado) que como lubricante no tenÃa precio. Cuando le hice ver a la camarera su error, escudándose en que era nueva, miró a su compañera âveteranaâ y ésta le dijo que era imposible, que el café sà era descafeinado (ella no estaba presente cuando lo hizo su compañera nueva). Aun asÃ, pagamos los dos cortados y abandonamos el local con la promesa de no volver más. Servicio deficiente, como siempre y nula profesionalidad⦠¡un auténtico desastre!

Situated in typical old Orotava building with patio - the restaraunt itself is tourist attraction.Specialises in local food: cheese, fresh fish, meats, potatos... Try Rancho Canario village soup. Reasonably priced, good service, menu in English, German...

Gran terraza, sillas cómodas, bien ubicado y buen precio de las copas. La única pega es que se pasan un poco con el precio de la cerveza y, además, no tienen el detalle de ponerte algo de picar junto con la cerveza, sino que lo tienes que pedir tú (aunque, menos mal que es gratuito).

Just happened to spot this tiny café, almost like a front room of a house, whilst wandering around La Orotava. We had a great lunch of freshly made sandwiches with drinks; the waitress was really friendly, and it was the cheapest lunch of many similar ones we had during our two weeks in North Tenerife!

Great little cake shop where you can "pick and mix" from a wide variety of the types of cakes your granny might have baked. You can sit down and eat them in the shop, but we took ours to the nearby garden and ate them in the sunshine.Very good value!

We had a wonderful lunch at this tucked away gourmet burger restaurant in the hills above la orotava. It is certainly worth the trip as the selection is varied and unusual. Apart from the plain burger with wedges for my youngest, we had the oishii burger, which blended the succulent patty with American cheese, pickles and a mango ketchup and the other was a Thai inspired burger with wasabi cream cheese and vegetable tempura. All were served with crispy wedges and with drinks for all the bill only came to 22 euros.
