Located in the northeast corner of the I-5 and 17th Street in Mimiâs strip mall with access via Carroll Way SAKE2 ME SUSHI, a culinary mecca for Orange County sushi-lovers, offers the standard AYCE array of appetizers, sushi pieces, cut rolls, hand rolls, special rolls, and limit bento box selection for lunch and dinner. Based on convenient location, sufficient parking, pleasant surroundings, food selection, and service, on a scale of 5.0, I would give it a 4.5. The quality and the freshness of the seafood is above average. We arrived at 11:30 am on a Wednesday (no lines) were seated quickly. The Cons: The service was spotting, meaning that some of the servers were mentally somewhere else and not focused on customers. The Pros: I ordered Octopus sushi pieces (4.0), Salmon Skin rolls (4.0), Mixed Tempura (4.0), small Seaweed Salad (3.5), Eel hand roll (4.0), Salmon Collar (5.0), SNS special roll (5.0), Green Goblin special roll (5.0) and Tustin Blossom special rolls (5.0). The last four were absolutely delicious worth the price of the lunch ($21). These are slightly smaller portions, but with a really good seafood to rice ratio. I was shocked to discover that they have an all day happy hour (Mon - Thurs) with the small Sapparo bottled beer for only $1.50. At this point, this is my go-to-place for a Japanese lunch and for the AYCE sushi feast.

Sutha Thai Kitchen is located on Irvine Boulevard in a small strip center between Newport Boulevard and Red Hill Avenue across the street from the Tustin Heights Center. This intimate family-owned restaurant has a pretty extensive menu, including a variety of appetizers, noodles, fried rice, Thai salads, soups, curries and specialty entrees. On this visit my son ordered barbecue pork with noodles, while my wife had the popular Pad Thai (pan fried rice noodles with chicken, egg, chili, bean sprouts, green onion and ground peanuts); they were both very happy with their dishes. I opted for one of my personal favorites, Pad See-Ew (stir-fried flat noodles with black soy sauce, eggs and Chinese broccoli). It was savory with a touch of sweetness, and was quite delicious. NOTE: If youâre interested in trying Thai food but are leery of the spicy heat many associate with it, a dish like Pad See-Ew would be a safe order as itâs prepared without chilies.The dining room is tiny but well maintained; there are also a couple of tables outside. The service is friendly, and they also do a pretty brisk take-out business. Sutha Thai Kitchen has long had a devoted local following, and once you taste their fresh, delicious cuisine youâll understand why.

Four of us had dinner here last night after work - 2 meat eaters, 1 Vegan and 1 mostly Vegan. We sat out on the patio and it was lovely. The staff new two of my coworkers, apparently they go here often. Their menu great. I had the Tofu with Peanut Sauce on Spinach. It was fantastic. I want to go back and have room for dessert - Mango and Sticky Rice.

This is not the typical sushi restaurant you find on any corner of the city. Rather, the restaurant itself is hip & upscale. More importantly, the sushi & it's sauces are very good and different. This restaurant hails from Silicon Valley, so the food tends to be cutting edge in taste & presentation. I particularly recommend the appetizer: CITRUS-SEARED SALMON SASHIMI - delicious! My only complaint is the plate is small, only four pieces. I would love to see this as one of the entrées.

The menu offers fabulous variety, great value, plenty of meat choices and awesome, friendly service!The meat and food just kept coming. Had a hard time keeping track of what was what. All delicious. Easy to cook and eat portions (cut pieces). Friendly service. Attentive to change out cooktop and refill our drinks. Sort of noisy but a fun place to gather with friends (hungry friends)! Definitely a new favorite and coming back soon.

The food here is always excellent, ultra fresh ingredients. All the traditional dishes you would expect. Been here dozens of times. It is our go-to Chinese restaurant in Orange County, where we lived for years. We found ourselves in Orange Co. this past week and made it a point to have a family dinner there. We were not disappointed.Something different this time however. The service here has usually been average to good. This time it was excellent.The Honey Walnut Shrimp, fried rice and Moo She Chicken are family favorite.

Delicious Mayasian food! We started with gado gado, roti canai (very good) and chicken and beef satay, although the accompanying sticky rice cakes were the smallest rice cubes I have ever seen. I highly recommend the wonton mee, char kuay teow, and Haninanese chicken rice. Service was excellent.

Let me start by saying I LOVE KBBQ and I've been to several GEN restaurants throughout Southern California. But this one is my least favorite... They have texting notification for when your table is ready which they don't use. The seating process needs to be revisited to say the least. We had 5 people in our group and our wait time was 30 minutes. Two groups that had the same number of guests and had arrived after us were sat before us. That really pissed me off. Many of the ones we've visited have small waiting areas but this particular location literally had seating for about 12 people. So it was small and tight. It was cold windy day so whenever anyone opened the door all that were waiting would get a shot of cold air but the hostesses were comfy with their little area heater. One of the things I really dislike about GEN locations is the dirty greasy floors. One doesn't realize that when everyone is cooking at their table some of the fats cooked get carried in the steam that comes off and settles on the floors etc. multiply this by the number of grills used. You can literally feel it on the soles of your shoes when you walk into the dining area. The nastiest part was when I dropped my napkin. Just as a cleaning habit, I picked it up to put aside and it was black greasy as hell from my fingers lightly rubbing the floor. Let me say that this greasy film is a problem at all the GEN locations we've been to. Some more than others but this one too the cake! Although difficult to maintain, it is doable. Staff was meh for our visit until they switched waiters, the new one was ok. I Love me some KBBQ but I more than likely won't be back to this location.

This was a true find for us. We were told about this place by regulars but put off going there for some time... That was a mistake. The visit was probably the best we've had for some time. Everything we ate was tasty, and that included appetizers, salads, entrees, and dessert. The service was excellent, checked in on us regularly, but not intrusive.
