If you want good food and a fun time, this is without a doubt the place to go to. The service was excellent, food was delish, lots of variety menu items sounded good which we'll try next time (classics like paella and oysters Rockefeller). The live band was great. This is a great place to just chill and people watch or get on the dance floor.

Mimi's Cafe

We stopped here for lunch, primarily as it was on the way and it's a Mimi's Cafe, which usually means you're stopping at a reliable restaurant. Unfortunately, in this instance, it was a bit of a mixed review. The good:Standard fare, which is consistently put together.Service is always excellentThe amenities are always nice. The bad:Our hot sandwiches were cold as were the fries. This was a bit odd as the overall wait time from placing the order to the food being dropped off was only about 15 minutes. I'm sure this was an anomaly as Mimi's Cafe's quality control is typically top-notchOther:Parking here is atrocious. Not the restaurants fault but if you're here during the lunch or dinner rush be prepared to be driving around a lot. The shopping center they're located in doesn't have nearly enough parking.

At In-N-Out Burger, quality is everything. Stop by to enjoy our menu of hamburgers, cheeseburgers, french fries and shakes. In-N-Out makes fast food the old fashioned way.

What’s there to say about In-N-Out Burger that hasn’t been said yet? Every location is consistent, we always make it a point to visit one every time we go to the United States where there is a location nearby, and the food is outstanding. Note the secret menu if you are not aware. The popular choices include protein style (wrapped in lettuce no bun); animal style (burgers get pickle, extra spread, grilled onions; fries get spread, grilled onions and cheese – I call it a Californian poutine); and grilled cheese (sans meat). For those who are unaware, expect a line but expect fast and friendly service as they are efficient. Again it’s always been consistent no matter what location, we just happened to visit the Tustin on that day. Please kindly indicate if you found this review to be helpful, as it will help me focus on my future review efforts! Safe travels!!

Delicious food, tons of options for vegetarians, and they even allow dogs (outside on the patio, anyway). My only complaint is that I wish the patio were bigger, as the weather is most often nice. The food portions are big and the quality is excellent. Great flavor. The serving staff is also super nice.

We have been going to the Crab Cooker in Newport Beach for 50 years. We were sorry to hear they had to rebuild the building and it was closed. We went to the one in Tustin. This one doesn't have quite the atmosphere and the food was not quite as good. That being said, the cracked crab was very sweet. the romano potatoes were very good. The coleslaw not very flavorful. Still a good place to get crab.

Last night at Playground 2.0 was one incredibly exciting food and wine pairing adventure! Master Chef Jason Quinn is a creative genius. Such fresh, beautiful, some exotic, carefully selected vegetables, expressed as vegetables, nothing hidden, prepared with more of the freshest, most delightful ingredients that make me feel with each bite, like I’m in heaven - no kidding! Each of the 12-14 dishes had such a variety of taste, texture, heat, salt, acid, sweet, spice, umami, crunch, and smoothness. A totally heavenly experience from beginning to end!

I worked today in Oceanside and hoteled it near John Wayne airport. I ate tonight in Tustin at the Winery Restaurant and Bar. It was great!!! I got there early due to me staying on East Coast time but it didn't matter. Noel, the bartender, talked to the culinary staff and talked them into serving me food about 70 early!!!! I loved it!!! I ordered the Calamari for an appetizer and there was so much!!!!! It was a meal in itself. I then ordered the Mahi Mahi and it was great too. The food was super-excellent. I also had a pinot noir and a New Zealand SB...but were very tasty. In the meantime my new server, Krystal, took over and did a heck of a job. She was so nice and personable and made the whole experience super duper...thanks Krystal!!!!! Try this place when in So Cal!!! It's the BEST!!!!!

My wife and I went to Rutabegorz the other night for a quick dinner. Rutas, ( that's what we call it), is a local place in one of the historic buildings in Old Town Tustin. They specialize in food on the healthier side of the spectrum, but don't let this scare you off it that isn't your thing. We have coming here for many years. My wife loves it for its HUGE salads. I like it for various dishes, but most recently I went the soup and salad route. This is a rare detour for me. Most of the wait staff know me as the Vegetable Lasagna guy. As I said I went soup and salad. I had a choice between the Dalia garden salad or the small Cesar. I went with the garden salad. As the name suggests the Dalia garden salad is full of all the goodies you would expect to find. For soup I went with the chicken rice vegetable. Only problem with the soup was that while quite good, I think they are a little heavy on the rice. My wife got the BBQ Chicken Fiesta salad. It has Chicken, romaine lettuce, BBQ sauce, black beans, red onion, jack cheese, cilantro, tomato, corn, avocado and chips. Served with their special Southwestern Bleu Cheese dressing on the side. She likes this salad first because its good and second because it's big enough that she can have half for lunch the next day if she doesn't pour dressing all over it when it is served. The staff will gladly give you dressing in a take out cup of dressing too when you ask for a take out box.
