We had some excellent panini and chips meals here last week. The area was very quiet and we were the only customers so food came quickly and there was lots of it. Mine was filled with goats cheese and ham and was delicious. My husband even had a beer with his.

We didn't do too much eating at L'Escale but what we did have was great. If however, it's a pub you're looking for, look no further than here in St. Gilles - great range of beers (and cocktails), TV's showing sport and excellent music. What more can you ask for? Staff are brilliant and cope admirably with my limited grasp of the French language. Chapeau!
