Situated on the long road between Brem and Bretignolles - but well worth the walk. Fixed menu between July and August which is good value. Mussles and Chips for 10 euros. Childrens Menu is set at 7 euros. We were a party of 11, which they seated easily. The total bill was 180 euros, which covered all meals, starters, puddings and drinks. Be warned - they do not speak a word of English!!!

Went here as a last resort and that's how it felt. Slooow service and some very un Italian looking food. I didn't want pizza but when I saw the bland looking salmon special come out (pasta, separate salmon filet, bread on the side) I decided it was my best bet. The peperoni pizza didn't even claim to feature peperoni. Chorizo was promised but failed to materialise. Mine was insipid. My wife's mushroomy one was good apparently. There's only one high chair, we didn't get it. Fails to play to even the simple strengths of Italian or French cooking.

Valarie and Jeff run a superb establishment. They work hard and produce good food at a good price. Service is always good even when busy which it often is. The menu is simple, ingredients fresh and the venue clean and friendly. Also is open 7th which is rarer than hens teeth in sept :) mussels and the thinnest pizza known to mankind are a speciality.

What a disappointment, our visit was under par altogether. When I received raw fish the waitress apologised. The owner or manager was no where to be seen and had the audacity to charge full price for our food without any apology. I can tell you the food doesn't match the pictures they have on their menu!!! Beware the food is only ok, 3 out of 5 only is my rating and this is being generous. I had pity on the waitress who had to apologise for the cooks mistake.We had offer to you your firsh Fish ! Remember ! And an second FriesSo Your memory is selectiveWhat you want more ? Than we offer the second one... Come on are you serious ? You really want a be a poor gye ? No it's not possible to be as small as your coment... also... We had some excellent panini and chips meals here last week. The area was very quiet and we were the only customers so food came quickly and there was lots of it. Mine was filled with goats cheese and ham and was delicious. My husband even had a beer with his.

We have visited this café on numerous occasions over the years when in the area and can always enjoy a leisurely lunch. Friendly staff and a varied menu for all tastes .We've has moules and frites ,pizza and our favourite their ceasar salad. Just round the corner from the sea front what more could you want?

We returned yet again, to our favourite Bretignolles restaurant. A warm welcome as always from Madame. We had a delicious salad between us (because they are huge). Lovely fresh leaves (not packet as so many restaurants have given in to) with lots of generous extras and lovely dressing. We both had pizzas which are superb and delicious fries (the best, we have decided!!). Great service, great value, great food, beautiful setting. Well done Guillionniere!!
