Just wow! I canât believe I havenât discovered this place before, but now I have, it will be on my âmust visitâ list of places to eat in Sant Carles. We had the steak tartare which really was the best I have ever had (and Iâve had a lot). It was made with bone marrow at the table and was really delicious. We then had the tomahawk steak which was also outstanding. It was cut at the table and then you can cook it to your taste on a grill on your table. Served with yummy chimichurri sauce. Even the little potatoes were delicious. As other people have said, the staff were really friendly and welcoming. We met the Argentinian couple who ran it, who clearly took care in the meat/food and were keen to provide good service. We ate in the braseria, which is a separate section to the buffet. Ok, so itâs not the most beautiful romantic setting, but the food speaks for itself. I will be rushing back - in fact, Iâm going twice in my short trip to Sant Carles and canât wait to visit again soon. Highly recommended!

The Espanol is on a main street and looks like a cafe from the outside. As you enter into the bar area the bare tables do not look much either but it leads into a smart, traditional styled dining room, with the kitchen and a fabulous charcoal grill at one end and where a fine selection of meats and fish are displayed.Very friendly and helpful staff and a menu that is not very big but has some interesting items of Spanish cuisine. We opted for the special sirloin steak and the roast lamb with a salad plus an aubergine / peppers grill mix. All were absolutely delicious with wine by the glass followed by crema catalanas. A superb meal in a very friendly and comfortable setting - would definitely go there again.

Para cenar un par de ensaladas, muy pobres, de presencia pésima y dos postres mÃnimos, caro, muy caro (casi 40â¬). Le he dado 2 de puntuación porque fueron amables, ya que nos montaron una mesa en la terraza de propio, pero poco futuro le veo
