In Calbayog city this is the place to eat really well cooked, fresh and reasonably priced Alimango. The restaurant itself is unassuming but very artfully decorated and is pleasant.

The place was fine, albeit a bit hard to access for the elderly and pwd. It was quaint and was pretty enough for photos, but it clearly lacked budget to keep its amenities attractive. It should benefit from a major tourism marketing boost for Northern Samar as it is along the main highway.The food took a while to serve despite there being only three parties to accommodate, and i think it can only be attributed to the lack of customer traffic. When the food arrived, however, we were reminded of how much better it was to eat by the source, a luxury we dont really have in Manila. The fish was taken live off the pond and was some of the freshest i've had. The sinigang was honest and the sizzling bangus was a real treat, something id fly down to Samar for on a whim. The calamansi juice was also as honest as advertised - no instant anything in sight!I think the place needs as much support it can get, as it has so much potential. That statement probably speaks for the whole of Samar as well.
