Very affordable hotel rooms with good quality service. With 19 relaxing rooms with television, free wifi and hot and cold shower. The rooms are always clean and the staff are very accommodating.
Relaxing, a few minutes to the city center
Reviewed By nheesaThe room is modern and very nice for the price paid. Staffs are very attentive, two thumbs up. Around 10 to 15 minutes going to the city center (if you don't have a car). The place is relaxing and quiet. Far from the city noise. Worth the price. :)

Very disappointing
Reviewed By JorgeF1976I stayed in this hotel for 3 nights cos of the convenient location and despite the kind treatment from the staff I must say that the room was claustrophobic and with no ventilation, the bathroom had very bad conditioning, only cold water, WiFi was not working most of the time and they forgot to tidy up my room for two days. On top of that since I directly booked upon my arrival they charged me a tariff above the price I found afterwards in several websites. I’ve visited more than 50 countries and thousand of hotels and I don’t usually write any negative comments but in this case I must say that I would not recommend this hotel if you are staying in Gensan.

Good stay

Wasn’t expecting much since we were asked to pay for P1,000 for twin sharing but I can say that for the price, the place is really great. The location is good. A lot of tricycle passes by so we didn’t have a hard time hailing one. It’s also near the Tiongson Arcade where you can eat tuna in a really cheap price. The hostel has a big parking area and has their own restaurant downstairs that is open until 10pm. The room is big enough for two with big luggages. There’s also a small sofa chair inside and a tv (though we had no time to use it). It is also well-lit and well-decorated. There’s a bathtub as well and the water heater is working properly. We requested for instant coffee and hot water in the morning and it was served immediately so I guess their service is good as well. We didn’t encounter a single problem in staying here so if ever we will come back in Gen San, we will definitely stay here again.

The restaurant has wonderful views of the ocean bay and the food was a really superb array of Filipino classic dishes, majoring on seafood. The whole resort is elegantly laid out, exuding class.

Room 9 HOLE ON THE WALL

The room is damp and has a moldy smell.arrived at 7pm due to delayed flight and asked if we could get another room, but were told by lady(was wearing T-shirt and Jogger pants and slippers),theyre fully booked.Were so tired to look for another hotel,so we slept in for the night with a mask, face covered with blanket due to suffocating moldy smell.Theres NO WINDOW that might help with the smell.I got up 3am coz I cant sleep well and went out and complained and a guy receptionist was apologetic about it.I asked if they could just transfer us to any room and he said theres another room available but its more expensive than what we booked and we need to pay more.Its out of his control and I asked If I could talked to someone,same lady receptionist showed up and said she'll talk to the owner and they will keep me updated. Came 10am and we heard nothing from anyone so we decided to look for another hotel. Another lady was in their frontdesk,in uniform like the guy. I told her the situation.She said she's just an OJT in that hotel.That lady in slippers showed up when we were carrying our luggages but said nothing.Theres more, TV and AC remote controls dont work. NO smoke alarm and theres no available oulets. Outletsin the room is only for TV and cable box.No toiletries in the room

Waste of time
Reviewed By Malcolm505This place use to be a good budget stay but now with the owners handing it down to their daughter and son in-law not so good it started with the pickup at the airport with the son in-law calling the driver and asking the driver in a not so nice way where he was, I could hear him on the phone, not nice to hear from management when our flight was about 30 minutes late and an accident nearly block the road holding us up. Beds are so uncomfortable, no top sheet first night air conditioner is so loud and so old, hard to sleep. It came with free breakfast first morning we had one sunny side up egg each with one small hot dog and a small rice the next morning we were told no we can,t have that free breakfast is only hot dog small rice and half an egg scrambled or replace hot dog for corned beef but they didn’t,t have corned beef the first four days anyway but the nice cook gave us an egg each but found out later management would charge her for the eggs. Water pressure is not great fridge worked well kept a beer cold There is a Save More supermarket about a five minute walk that’s about the only good thing about the area. Sorry but I won’t be back they use to have a lunch and dinner available there but new management stopped it.

Reviewed By PrinceMagsFIRST, room is very affordable, clean, quite, cold AC, good water flow (hot/cold), safe. You get to have a room worth P999.00 or $20 per night. They have free breakfast(it's only one meal though) but it's good. It feels like you are at a 3 star hotel as their interior is really beautiful. They have clean bed and clean linens too! For you people who would like to try 3G hotel, I assure you they have good and very clean rooms!

Far away from centre
Reviewed By Jaap NBooked through Agoda, supposedly a promo, from 1793 to 743 php, per night. I booked and when I got there I read their pricelist and a room is 680 only...... and many vacancies. So I now know why Agoda call their rates 'special'.... Many rooms are used by couples for just a few hours in the evening....(I guess to finally have that good talk....;-)) The room is ok, although the hot water is not working... The guesthouse is not at all near the centre of Gensan, and it takes about 15 minutes by tricycle to get there, it's a lot of hassle. I don't recommend booking this guesthouse, there are many more options nearer to dowtown Gensan.

Simple hotel in General Santos

The location was not too great (not very much of anything within walking distance of the hotel), the presentation of the hotel as you drive up to the hotel - the parking lot, aesthetics, etc., is pleasing to the Western eye, the front desk looks nice and staff are polite, but they don't appear to have their hotel records, reservations, etc., in a computer database and they don't accept payment by credit card but only in cash!, the room is okay, decorated okay, TV with 100 channels!, very simple, rough bathroom & shower, they have TP available only upon request, apparently, hot water for shower, very little soap or shampoo, wifi in rooms is sporadic or non-existent, free, but simple & limited breakfast in the hotel restaurant, and food ordered off the menu for lunch or supper takes a LONG time to arrive (30-45 minutes!).
