Reviewed By 944JoeyTWe stayed in this hotel from June 2-5, the place is magnificent, all rooms are facing the ocean and provides good and romantic views. The hotel staff are dearly accommodating and the foods are good and we enjoyed our stay, BUT let me give my piece. 1. We are a group of 12, we waited for 30 minutes at the airport for the hotel transport but when he arrived we were surprised “it was a pick up utility vehicle that can only accommodate our luggages and 4 people” and the driver advised us to wait for his returned for another 30 minutes, In short we rented a van for our transport. 2. The room has no comforter blankets they used linens as blankets. 3. We have been in some part of the world but it is our first time to see a fixed concrete block at the middle of the shower room, we realy don’t know what is it for. It is a safety risk.

A little haven on Alona Beach
Reviewed By HienNgaI've only been here 12 hours but REMARKABLE soundproofing! If you've ever been in Alona, you know how bad it gets. There is, right now, godawful club music right nearby, vibrating the air outside. Yet the moment you close your door, you don't hear anything anymore. As if you're not on Alona Beach (which, by the way, is still as sleazy as ever, like the pandemic never happened). Tip-top! P/S: If you're a houseplants/rare tropical plants enthusiast, you'd absolutely love their garden. Come look at their massive variegated Mickey Mouse Alocasia!

Reviewed By saimakulitRoom is okay for basic necessities like bed, tv, ac. No hot shower. The staff in front desk when we asked how to get hot water for our noodles was rude. Will not go back at this inn. And will not recommend this to anyone.

Maya Playa Resort is located just about 5 minutes walking from Dumaluan beach which is the most beautiful and longest beach in Panglao island. Stay with us in our rooms surrounding with a tropical garden. The Alona beach area can be reached in about 5 minutes by car or motorcycle. All rooms has air conditioning, TV with international channels, bathroom with hot shower and free wi-fi. The restaurant offers an international menu, the specialties are the homemade pasta and pizza, Asian dishes and steaks of meat and fish. Maya Playa offers tours to discover the beautiful island of Bohol, island hopping, snorkeling and diving tours. Other services available are massages, motorbike rentals and transfers to the airport and to the port. The new Panglao international airport is 3 kilometers away from the resort.

Reviewed By Matias Nicolas MBeautiful villa located near the best beaches of Bohol, has very large and clean rooms, the staff is very attentive and cordial, especially Iza which helped us at all times of our stay, they offer very rich food, of good quality and excellent drinks, the staff always willing to help with any need, excellent service and we will come back.

Reviewed By Buttons55555Absolutely amazing service. From the day I made the booking to when they dropped us at the oceanjet ferry on our departure. We have NEVER had such great service. Organised any tour, driver we wanted, welcome drink on arrival, free pick up and drop off service, even when our plane was delayed and we just caught the late ferry, nothing was too much hassle. Drinks by the pool, food delivered to room, friendly and personal staff and owner. Better than any 5 star hotel for service. Comfortable beds, noisy but working air-con and a good pool. Thank you especially to Nina, you made our holiday so much better. Robert the owner was also personal and friendly. Would never stay anywhere else when in Bohol. All the food was delicious, but they can not cook beef, it was tasty but dry and chewy. Pizzas and other food was great. Location was ok, but nothing was in walking distance, (not one shop, maybe the Bohol Bee Farm). But their service is so great, they happily dropped us off at local destinations each day for free. The bathroom needs renovating, very token shower and silicon around sink plug hole mouldy, but their amazing service overrides this issue plus you can tell they are constantly improving facilities.

Reviewed By swessingerLigger cirka 5 km till alona, så man måste ha moppe för att ta sig någonstans. Finns inte så jätte mycket runt om kring. Ca 1 km till havet vilket var faktiskt! Stranden där är mycket lugnare än den i Alona. Frukosten var okej och kostade 100-120php, receptionen har öppet till 21 och där serverar som mat och alkohol. Ganska små rum men hade allt som behövdes. Rent. Trevlig och hjälpsam personal!

Después de comentarselo a la chica, nos llevó a un dormitorio compartido que estaba realmente sucio y nada cuidado. Hormigas por las camas, mantas sin limpiar, suelos de no haber sido limpiados en años. HORRIBLE!!!!!!

Reviewed By Y6713PXdavidepmy mistake was not to read what the other travellers wrote about this very bad place. I made a reservation for 4 nights but when i saw it i decided to go straight away even if i lost my money. It is one of the worst place in Pangao island. They are not reliable at all.
