Went with a friend on a Saturday night and was seated right away. Our server was prompt, friendly, and efficient. We ordered onion soup and crab and artichoke dip, no drinks, and one order of ice cream. That cost us $54. Most entries are thirty dollars or more. The ambience is pleasant but the prices will keep me away.Ibaol, we regret to hear that you had a negative experience with us, but would appreciate the chance to turn your experience around.

Order your fish choice at the counter, it is quickly brought to your table. Fish come with a choice of 2 sides. Roasted corn, coleslaw, grilled zucchini are good choices. Garlic bread was a small portion, not worth eating. Roasted potatoes were cold, grilled fajita vegetables were mostly green peppers and onions. Portion size of fish has been inconsistent. The pricier fishes are a noticeably smaller portion. For those that donât like fish, youâre out of luck, there arenât any other choices. Shrimp tacos were tasty but not very filling. There is indoor and outdoor seating. Prices are the same for lunch and dinner.Hello,Thank you for your honest review. You know you are in for a treat when you sit down and they serve freshly made bruschetta and warm bread. Yum! One of the better ciopinno's ever, served in oversized bowl filled with fresh fish and seafood. Very tasty homemade pastas, chicken marsala and calamari. Service very good and wine selection extremely reasonable ($30 for a nice Italian red). Overall: Excellent place for families and if you want pizza, they have that too.

â¦. ....but merely because there really isn't anywhere else, this is an average sushi restaurant that by necessity serves a range of fairly standard Asian hot dishes as well. The small and totally straightforwardly simple room has a bar and about a dozen tables, well waitered by attentive staff that easily fills with locals by mid-evening. Nothing fancy but good quality fish and well prepared dishes, not altogether well co-ordinated in terms of timing, however. As the main road leads nowhere than round the Palos Verdes Peninsula, it is hardly on a beaten track but if you are in the area it might serve you well, if only because of the lack of competition.

Our 11 year old never had raw fish before this summer but recently he tried some from Poke Me and said, "It's really good!"In years past we would only get poke from Hawaii or prepared by our Hawaiian friends and it was not cheap everyday food. It's still not cheap but it is now accessible. The entire family enjoys the custom bowl toppings and sauces. On this first trip we had a variation of fish and preparations. Our favorites are the tuna and shoyu mild, salmon and spicy mayo and of course tuna and spicy mayo.We first heard of them from the local paper about the grand opening and were extremely excited to have one of five locations in the LA and Irvine areas. This one in Palos Verdes is located at the end of Hawthorne in the Golden Cove Plaza opposite of Trader Joes. There is plenty of parking and the ocean is nearby, if you want to picnic somewhere. The price and portions are a good value, about $12 medium gets you a bed of either salad or rice then three scoops of poke prepared with choice of sauce and toppings. Big eaters will be satisfied with the large for about $14 with 4 scoops of poke.All in all, great healthy food at a great value and a taste of Aloha!

Lots of our friends like this restaurant. We do not as what you eat there the entrees come with numerous add-ins and the of course the price is then higher then just an entree and of course other restaurants. You have no choice to just order a small entree. So the bar is good, the food is good, but you get too much and that drives the price up so we seldom go there..I'm sorry to see this. I'm glad you enjoy our food and drinks, but it's a shame to see you don't feel like the price is appropriate. Our dishes are award-winning quality, which is reflected in our pricing.
