We dined here on a Saturday evening. Walked in, was told to sit anywhere. A very quaint place, with a very busy local bar scene. We chose the special of the evening, New York strip steak with crabmeat and also the boiled seafood combination.both came with complementary salads which were very fresh but small. Also served was a bruschetta over toasted Italian rolls which was also tasty. The steak was cooked to perfection, but the crabmeat left a little to be desired. Was hoping for lump crabmeat, was more of a Maryland style crab meat. The broiled seafood combo was okay, with clams casino, jumbo scallops, jumbo shrimp, and stuffed baked flounder. I choose mashed potatoes which were cold, and zucchini. My mate choose the baked potato and zucchini. The Long Island Ice-T's were tasty, but at $8.75 each a bit pricey. Waitress Melony was very good. A decent meal, but not a place I would want to race back to....

Stoped here for lunch before going into Ocean City. Good selection of food and good drink selection. Lots of tv's so imagine it is a good sports bar in the evening.Liquor store attached, so if you are going into Ocean City (which is dry) you canget you refreshments needed.

I have been a resident of Sea Isle for 16 years. Never in my entire time here have I felt so ignored. The Carousel Beach Bar is not one of our regular spots but on a nice day we decided to venture over there for a cocktail. We At the the bar for approximately 15 minutes waiting for someone to take our order. The bartenders were too busy chatting with friends. Finally one of the bartenders decided to walk over and take our order. Not friendly by any means. My husband decided to have another drink and again we were ignored. Waiting approximately another 15-20 minutes. We finally decided to head over to Henri's. Do yourself a favor, ignore this spot and spend time at a classy beach bar, Henri's!

Hubbers and I wanted to eat some good food, listen to a live band and meet up with our neighbors. Place was packed, band was good! Our attentive server, Megan, was great! Bottles were cold @ $3.50 eAch, Dinner wAs prime rib sandwich on brioche bun $12.95 & my betrothed ate the Moody Bleu Bacon burger $12.95. Place is great for local campgrounds & has an active activity schedule including Sunday brunch, Taco Tuesday & bar bingo

Being the 50th anniversary weekend for Kix in Sea Isle City, I thought it appropriate to do a review. It has certainly come a long way in recent years, especially with the addition of Sidekix, the martini bar which opens onto a lovely outdoor dining area, with music on a regular basis. The sandwiches and fries are wonderful. The best roast pork with provolone and broccoli rabe that I've ever had. Thursday nights, the Chatterband plays starting at 9:30 and really packs the house. Another band that plays frequently are The Soul Cruisers as well as popular local bands that you will know. Billy from Philly is there on Sundays from 4 to 8, playing to the older, line dancing crowd. The remodel was a welcome addition, giving it a sleeker atmosphere than what I've known over the years. We have really enjoyed our time spent here, even if just to stop in for a drink and a sandwich. Well worth visiting!! (and can take the jitney!!!))) PS Would give it a five, but the air conditioning still needs improvement.!!!

Enjoyed 4 hours here great food, great service, and live music.Outdoor entertainment both with the DJ and band. Some of the best bands are here..Don't call me Francis, Mystery machine, Jerry Blavat oldies. Go early get a good seat. Dancing, drinking and just having a whole lot of fun with friends, tourists and locals.

Was looking for a place on the water for drinks and a bite to eat. After seeing some reviews on another site, decided to give Twisties a try. Service was quick and friendly. We just had appetizers (the tuna tempura, which was OK and the seafood flatbread pizza, which was delicious!)We were hoping for outdoor bay seating, but there are only 3 small tables, so we ate inside. It is VERY loud inside and I found it difficult to hear my spouse seated directly across from me. That said, I would totally come back here for the food, which was delicious.

Tavern busy tonight...folks waiting for seating when we left after fine meal. Prime Rib night always busy. I had prime rib sandwich which was delicious! My wife had salmon which she has had many places & was not disappointed with her choice tonight. Service was excellent: just ask for Robin! Desert always special & tonight was Blueberry Crisp w vanilla ice cream on top. Now the important part: great selection of craft beers with many local breweries represented!

Last minute walked in to Odonnell's Pour House without any great expectations but were surprised to find a restaurant that got everything right. Service was friendly and fast. We ordered drinks and appetizers that were excellent. We both had New York Strip steaks medium rare that were perfectly done and better than most of the steakhouses we've been to in Philly and NYC. Great food, prices, and atmosphere. We'll be sure to make it back.
