our Birthday dining choice was La Fontana in strathmere, Its a BYOB, and the selections were very enjoyable.....,, But.. the young waiter just wasn't present at all. Dining room is clean and airy, great view of neighborhood. couple pesky flies there in the Main Dining that other diners noticed and inquired about, and restrooms clean and accessible. So if it weren't for the attentive rather tall hostess and some newer lady waitstaff, our dinner would not have happened. The check came out to 95$ for two, that was the only time we saw the waiter, he was helping do a landscape project in the parking area. he did not understand my request in italian or english. he brought the pasta fagiole instead of the antipasti. he didn't return to the table.except way late brining the check. Thankfully, the real tall and very nice hostess handled our needs. Halibut special outstanding, judicious use of capers in a couple dishes. shellfish real fresh in the apps, dumb little grape tomatoes in the special insalata were tough, considering we're in Jersey. Dressings and sauces authentic, Food Hot or properly chilled, and portions adequate.. thanks to those ladies for running the dining room in the waiter's absence.! We will go back.

The Jersey Shore towns rarely have top-notch restaurants and it's always a nice surprise to find well prepared food professionally served. About half the menu in this BYOB trattoria-style restaurant is standard US-Italian fare, with the rest of it some interesting turns on familiar sauces. Pay attention to the specials; one of our party had a pork dish with the most tender pork I've tasted in a long time.Service is attentive and amiable, not pushy. Indoors can be a bit noisy because it's not that large a room, but there are tables outside. Don't pass this one by.

Iâm not sure where the positive reviews came from. Restaurants are rated by service and food. This place was Aweful in both. Service... waited forever for plates forks and knives. Instead Of bringing them with the water, which was asked for twice, they brought them after our meals arrived. So, we sat at our table staring at our food while waiting for utensils and plates. We had to get up and get our Utensils. No refills on soda or water. Service was terrible. Food.... yuck. They need to learn the meaning of flavor. Chicken Parmesan was dry and pasta was rubbery And tasteless. Pizza was not cooked completes and was soggy. Basically I can rant and rant but one star is more than they deserve. I recommend you walk on to another restaurant on the boardwalk.

My husband and I tried this ocean view restaurant last night. Staff was genuinely pleasant and seemed to want us to have a great experience. Our waitress Sophia was accommodating and the kitchen modified the lobster ravioli special so it had white wine lemon sauce rather than truffle cream (which I am sure was delicious but I cannot eat). It turned out to be quite pricey ($39) but there was a lot of seafood (including three delicious scallops) in the dish. Also itâs a byob so we spent far less on good wine that I bought at liquor store around the corner. Make a reservation and plan to enjoy this quality restaurant!

We enjoyed the food and service. The breakfast we chose was a good choice. Loved the pancakes and cheese omelette. Plenty of food!! Unfortunately, the wait was too long but we waited anyway. By the time we left we were full and happy.

Eat here often and the food is always delicious! No matter what I order, the food is always great. Just wish the food came out of the kitchen a little faster. Just saying. Other than that keep up the good work!

We have been getting takeout from this establishment for years. Some of our favorites are their pizzas, salads with blackened chicken, and their specialty wraps. This is a cash only establishment, and not an Eat in restaurant. Service has been always prompt and friendly. One of our shore favorites.

Had a very nice dinner at Andrea Trattoria for a group of 8 friends. Weâre able to get reservations with a round table. The owner/ hostess was very welcoming and gracious. Overall the wait staff was knowledgeable and friendly. We all had either Italian or seafood dinner. All the dishes were very good. This is a BYOB, which certainly makes the check a lot less. This was a busy, friendly and overall enjoyable experience.

If you are in Sea Isle, you must try this restaurant. We dined here on the last night (Thursday) of our ocean visit. My pasta dish was so tasty it just melted in my mouth. They are not open Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday when we were there (April). Also, BYOB - no wine or beer is available for sale here.
