Located in neighborhood shopping center, Mi Cocula's is exactly what it promises to be. Food is solid, served hot and professionally by eager staff. Not for fancy dining. Rather the perfect place for homemade deliciousness.

Every day at 8 a.m., we start chopping veggies, soaking beans, and prepping our mesquite-fired grill. Not because we have to, but because we believe in delicious flavors made-to-order, from hand-rolled enchiladas to our sizzling fajitas to guacamole made
Went in to OTB, FtW for a birthday meal, even told the waitress how excited I was to be there actually on my b'day! She had zero enthusiasm. The store was not busy in the least, which was surprising for 6:30pm. We were served with an entire basket of chip crumbs. We dug through the basket best we could to eat queso, but by the time she came back, we were obviously out of salsa too. Instead of just refilling our items, she asked if we needed anything. She never once just refilled anything. We had to ask for everything. By the end of our meal, while waiting for her to pick up our payment, my husband gave up and went to find the manager. He told him our waitress had abandoned us. He made no apology, and got in no hurry He was obviously unconcerned about our service. I've had bad service before but this was by far the absolute worst.. Some days you get lucky at OTB, but most of the time you don't. Rolls downhill apparently.

Great place for when you are dining on a budget. The food is very good and never expensive. You can feed two for $12 and enjoy the meal unlike fast-food.

What fun we all ordered our favorites, guac live, queso with brisket and shrimp tacos. We had a fantastic server and yummy margaritas all followed by the chocolate lovers pinata. So much fun had by adults and our birthday girl.

Real Mexican food is a feast for the senses. From colorful peppers to the sounds of sizzling fajitas all the way to that incredible flavor. Each mouthful is just as much a result of the freshest ingredients as it is a result of the chef's expertise. Abuel
As the "recent reviews of this restaurant" which popped up next to the review form indicate, everyone's take on the place depends on timing, expectations, and taste buds. So, take this for what it is worth. We have been regulars at Abuelos for years. Most of our experience has been with their location on the Airport Freeway at Precinct Line Road. When the Hulen location opened, we were some of the first people to try it out. Here is what we like about it. The service usually is excellent, though there can be exceptions. The food is consistent, and the options are numerous. On this visit, I was a bit disappointed with the Tortilla Soup, but only because some of my other favorite restaurants have variations, I like more. This one was just fine, especially for lunch. Two of my companions ordered nachos and lamented the fact they did not think to split an order. Keep in mind these guys are big eaters, and each asked for to go boxes. I have never had a bad meal here, and am a big fan of their enchilada plates. Their three salsa choices are great, and the chips are consistently light and tasty, but not so thin they break when dipping into the tomatillo sauce. I still recommend the place. Will it be your favorite, I have no idea. That depends on your expectations and tastebuds.

I had lived in Fort Worth for months, but I pretty much assumed all the Mexican food here was of the chain restaurant or drive thru variety. I missed the hole-in-the-wall restaurants run by families for generations that I had grown accustomed to in Lubbock. Finally, I discovered Pulido's. Not fancy or frilly, just good ole plates of food served fast and piping hot. The baskets of chips don't need to be refilled because they are huge. The chips are delicious but the salsa was a bit too tame for me. I was lucky to visit on a Wednesday when both the enchilada and the taco dinner are 5.99 (also on Tuesdays). I enjoyed the cheese and onion enchiladas with perfectly cooked rice and refried beans. Although we arrived at 1:30, the restaurant was still full of happy lunchtime diners. Most incredible Mexican food ever? No, but I am sure no one leaves saying it was bad. Pulido's is the kind of experience you want when you're craving Mexican food.

Rosa's Cafe is an upscale, fast-casual restaurant concept. Boasting the attributes of most full-service, sit-down Mexican food restaurants, Rosa's Cafe is unique in having an express drive-thru window to complement their authentic and colorful interior de
The food at Rosa's is ok and their tortillas are really good. We usually enjoy their salad which are always fresh made rather than in a prepacked plastic container. We enjoy the fact that we can sit and visit for a long time without feeling rushed to leave.

If you crave fast food tacos - go to Taco Casa. Food is fresh and good. We like their taco lite, meat burritos and soft tacos. Also they have great ice tea and love their soft ice. We buy their ice by the bag for our freezer.

It's been almost two years since I took a chance on Rio Mambo. This trip was against my better judgment, but my friends like it. It was a mid-week lunch, and I was a bit early. The place was nearly empty, and it never filled up as it has in the past. There were three of us on this visit, instead of the larger group I was with on my last visit. That visit was a disaster because of the way the management handled the seating. This trip bordered on a disaster, but was saved by the server. There is still something basically wrong with the management. They seem to have trouble handling seating requests, and to honor this one, they put us in an empty part of the restaurant. The host/manager who seated us was obviously not happy, and made the comment, "I'll serve you myself." He was clearly implying we were being a problem. Luckily, he disappeared, and very professional and attentive young man worked our table. He was great, the food was very good, and I will give it another shot if it stays open. However, the number of empty tables that day would concern me if I owned the place.

We eat here several times a month. Food is very good. Only thing I don't like is no crispy tacos. I usually get fajitas or beef enchiladas. My grandkids like there cheese nachos
