We started coming here when we lived close by but now we will drive the 40 minutes just to go for breakfast. Their breakfast burritos are so super yummy!! My whole family LOVES them and gets them every time. Their pancakes are my favorites now....better than Ihop! You always get seated quickly and the service has always been excellent! The whole staff works together to take care of the customers. Highly recommend!!

At a late lunch here on a Saturday. Location is great. Right in Edwards Ranch, just steps from one of the tributaries of the Trinity River. Outdoor seating as well as inside and dogs are welcome. Bike and walking trails are right there. We sat down and noticed our table was only partially set. That did get resolved. I noticed that every beer being served had no head and that included ours. I mean none at all. Temperature? Cleanliness of glasses? The hipster way to serve beer? I am not sure, but it was a bit disconcerting. Our waitress was pleasant enough, but her shirt looked like it had not been washed in a week. At first I thought it was a fashion statement, but she was the only one. And it did not look like just one spill. It was flat out dirty. Other wore an apron and that would have covered it, but not her.The food was just OK. The home made potato chips tasted off. Perhaps cooked with old oil? They are served with an ailoi sauce that mostly tasted of mayonnaise. It did not help. I had a turkey burger that was served with a barbecue sauce as well as some other "special sauce". The "special sauce" helped, but the burger was a little too salty for my taste. And I was not going anywhere near the barbecue sauce. My GF had their veggie burger and was disappointed. They mix in dates that she assumed would just be a binder, but was put off by large chunks of date in almost every bite.Other couple had a regular burger and a crab cake sandwich and they seemed reasonably pleased. Guess we just ordered the wrong thing. I wish I could have better things to say, but I just wasn't impressed. Plus it ended up being a $100 plus lunch before tip (we did have 3 beers and a glass of wine). For that price at lunch, I want to be somewhat wowed, but was not. No plans to return anytime soon. Too many other options.Hi BLDTraveler,Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. I am glad you loved the location! As far as all of your concerns, we are always willing to take this feedback in house. If something is not up to your standards or liking, please never hesitate to send it back. Our potato chips are cooked fresh daily, so again, I am sorry that you felt these were off. Aioli sauce does have a mayonnaise base. The only thing that differentiates the two is garlic. I am glad you liked our special sauce, however. The dates in our veggie burger are one of the main ingredients, so I am sorry if this was not described to you properly. As far as the uniforms go, I will be addressing this immediately. I am sorry this was your first impression of us. I will also make sure our Executive Chef is alerted of all of the feedback of food so he may ensure that these are up to our standards. I would love to know if a manager was ever alerted of any of these issues. If you wouldn't mind shooting us a message with that information as well as your email address, I would greatly appreciate it. I hope to hear from you soon so we may change your mind about our restaurant. I really do believe there is something there you will love!

Qana Cafe & Hookah

The food here is delicious and fresh (they plucked leaves from a basil plant by the front door for our sandwich). There are lots of vegetarian and vegan options. The atmosphere is casual and family friendly. Don't let the "Hookah" part fool you , there is a no smoking sign on the front door. There is outdoor dining available. There is a piano in the corner available for guests to use.
