Sushi Hanami

A quiet Wednesday lunch with just one other couple dining at the time. The service was attentive, yet discreet and very pleasant. The restaurant was clean and tidy with ok toilet facilities. My friend and I ordered a set menu including miso soup, sushi rolls, breaded chicken, rice and skewered meat, we also added some extra gyoza. The sushi was fresh and all served in a large bento box. The gyoza were particularly excellent. All were made in house. The price was very good (but higher than the new style 'buffet volonte' restaurants in Montlucon. I will definitely visit again, hopefully at a busier time/in the evening. Personally I'm not a fan of the pre-printed, mass-market cocktail lists that appear in many restaurants, this one included.

Started showing the 4 signatures to other people in the queue, as if they could read a Chinese signature. A Dutch waitress said she remembered chatting with us on the last visit when we had two children with us. The proprietor would still not believe us.Perhaps she used to work at Wonkies in London. They will loose our regular business and that of all our friends.
