I did not expect I would find any good Mediterranean (Greek, Italian, French, etc.) restaurants in Kuopio. Most are actually above average and got fooled from reviews with fake accounts. Well... I changed my mind!The restaurant is beautiful, with nice and romantic atmosphere.When we got inside, somelier greeted us. The waitress before taking the order, informed us that all the did is hand-made and most of the products are fresh and organic, something we really appreciate. Food was surprisingly amazing, from the starters to the desserts. All my respects to their chef. Somelier came to make wine - pairing, something you can't find in Kuopio and is generally rare in Finland. I am suspicious to leave my choice to someone else. He is not just professional, he is a Wikipedia of knowledge of every whine exists! Not only he was explaining which wine matches and why, but also the whole procedure of every each of them. In the end, we let him choose for us and we don't regret it, his pairing is unbeatable!We left happy and having an amazing night. This restaurant is honestly a privilege for Kuopio. A great experience indeed...

Food here is good basic lunch buffet you can expect in Finland. Nice staff, average priced. In summertime take the food outside on the terrace and watch whaty is going on in marina next to the place.

Rosso is one of the S-restaurant chains. The Kuopio unit is one of the nicer ones that I have been to. Excellent service, fast kitchen, and the customer wishes were taken in account well. The salad table was nice. The prices are reasonable and location next to the central market and town hall is very good. There is a burger joint and Cafe in the same side of the Sokos

Hands down this is the best pizza you can find in Kuopio. The selection of ingredients/toppings is not massive, but this is really the only down side that I could find. The pizza is made with great care and quality ingredients, the staff is friendly and helpful, even with a noisy 4 year old, and the place is new, slick and the atmosphere enjoyable. Big thumbs up!

Delicious Italian menu with pizza, pasta and wine. Atmosphere was casual and cozy at this little pizza restaurant and service was very friendly and knowledgeable. Carbonara, ravioli and the pizzas we ate were excellent. Portions were perfect and not over sized. What a nice surprise to find such a good Italian restaurant in Kuopio.
