I came back to Benidorm after a while and it mostly happens that places I liked loose the quality but not Scoobies! The pleasant young couple seem to work with care, love and passion and I have extreamly enjoyed my meal. We visited Alicante during massive storms, so didnât get to see as much as we would have liked.We braved the heavy rain to walk around the marina to this restaurant, having seen reviews on trip advisor, and it was definitely worth getting wet!All other restaurants around the marina were fairly quiet due to the weather, but this was very busy, with a couple of large parties in. We were seated towards the front, on what would normally be the âoutdoorâ area. Due to the weather the roof was on and the doors were closed, it was a lovely atmosphere. Our food arrived and was gorgeous, with the added bonus of being served by friendly and attentive staff.In between serving they were having to mop up due to the rain coming in, which strangely added to the evening! I would definitely recommend a visit to this restaurant during a visit to Alicante, definitely the best food we had whilst there.

My husband had been here previous on a business trip, and he thought it would be nice to come back here when I was with him on a second business trip to Alicante. Not too far from our hotel. Lovely food, we opted for several tapas plates which were all delicious, and highly recommended. Service was excellent, but we were glad we had booked a table, because it was busy on the day we dined there. Would definitely go back here again!

The menu del dia is good value at â¬9.50. For starters there was a salad, followed by a choice of pasta, gazpacho, rice and some other dishes, followed by a choice of beef, monkfish, and other dishes. Ended up with homemade cake doused in a caramel sauce, all very enjoyable. On a 2nd occasion I tried a calimare sandwich, which was a massive portion and really enjoyable. The seafood was very fresh.The cafe is popular with locals and provides an authentic Spanish experience. I did see an English breakfast on offer too. Our waitress was very nice and welcomed us back on our 2nd visit, which was very nice. Her English is good and she accepted my attempts at Spanish with good grace.When we left a tip, all the staff thanked us with a lusty roar of appreciation. The cafe has air con, which is an added attraction.

We regularly visit Alicante for shopping & the museums, but the highlight of our visit is lunch at FreneZy. The welcome from Xavier and his team is always warm and the restaurant has a real family atmosphere, which makes us feel good.The daily menu changes regularly and at â¬15 is difficult to beat, the choices are limited but are ingenious in preparation and always of the highest quality. Stumbled across this place by accident, but will definitely be back. The staff were so friendly (and patient with my rusty Spanish). They had no problem providing vegan options, a vegetable fajita which was out of this world tasty. The chef informed us they source all veg from the local vendors, something that was apparent from the quality of the food. Would definitely recommend a visit. Great food and such lovely staff.

Following recommendation from 2 gentlemen in our hotel, we decided to go to Neilâs Brasserie for our evening meal. On arrival we found the menu to be extensive with lots of choices on both the a la cart menu and menu of the day.My wife chose the prawn cocktail to start and I went for the black pudding. Both were delicious and nicely presented. Our mains were absolutely superb, I had the chicken stroganoff which was absolutely delicious and perfectly cooked. My wife went for the roast beef, which she really enjoyed. I was too full for dessert, but my wife had a dessert which was also superb. Also I should mention the service by the gentleman at front of house was also superb throughout our meal.Overall a wonderful meal at Neilâs Brasserie, I would recommend anyone to give it a try.

Visited in February with friends so when I came to Benidorm again with my mum and sister I knew I had to come back to Amigos. I emailed to mention my mum couldnât manage the stairs and received an email straight back to say a table downstairs would be waiting for us. We had starters of fish cakes and mushrooms, both dishes were fantastic. Then mains of fillet steak, lamb and prawns. Meals were all beautifully presented and cooked to perfection. The waitress that looked after us was friendly and made time to have a little chat with us. Well done again Amigos and I hope your bar opposite does as well as the restaurant, you deserve it.

Called in here for a drink after walking from Levante beach - was very impressed by hospitality and cleanliness. Returned 2 days later for lunchtime meal and intend to go back before our week is over - have seen they are shut Tuesdays.
