We booked a table for dinner based on other reviews. We agree with the recommendations. Beautiful setting (if you book you are more likely to get a table on the terrace), and friendly staff.I'd advise staff recommendations on food choice. Stumbled across this place by accident, but will definitely be back. The staff were so friendly (and patient with my rusty Spanish). They had no problem providing vegan options, a vegetable fajita which was out of this world tasty. The chef informed us they source all veg from the local vendors, something that was apparent from the quality of the food. Would definitely recommend a visit. Great food and such lovely staff.

Following recommendation from 2 gentlemen in our hotel, we decided to go to Neilâs Brasserie for our evening meal. On arrival we found the menu to be extensive with lots of choices on both the a la cart menu and menu of the day.My wife chose the prawn cocktail to start and I went for the black pudding. Both were delicious and nicely presented. Our mains were absolutely superb, I had the chicken stroganoff which was absolutely delicious and perfectly cooked. My wife went for the roast beef, which she really enjoyed. I was too full for dessert, but my wife had a dessert which was also superb. Also I should mention the service by the gentleman at front of house was also superb throughout our meal.Overall a wonderful meal at Neilâs Brasserie, I would recommend anyone to give it a try.

Wow.....what an amazing experience we had here for our valentines weekend. We opted for the klandestino XL menu and it was just sensational. The service was first class and the waiters really explain to you in detail how to correctly eat each course. The chef Susi DÃaz is one clever lady creating exquisite plates of food. Its a very special place and deserves it Michelin Star. A great place to celebrate a special occasion or if you are a food lover this is a place that you must put on your culinary list. Simply sensational.

Visited for dinner with a colleague and had a lovely meal. Only 4 tables and a small, freshly cooked menu. Food is high quality and authentic Italian. I had the gnocchi wth meatball sauce while my colleague had the vegetable tagliatelle. Portions were small but that suited me - I was comfortably full after 2 courses. We were also offered complimentary amuse bouche between courses. Wine is reasonably priced. I would definitely come back.

Called in here for a drink after walking from Levante beach - was very impressed by hospitality and cleanliness. Returned 2 days later for lunchtime meal and intend to go back before our week is over - have seen they are shut Tuesdays.

Very enjoyable Saturday lunch with family. Personal service with the chef (owner) and charming waitress explaining what was on offer. As a bread enthusiast the servicio pan, being chunky bread with alioli and tomato was lovely. The following tomate con salazones (dried salty tuna) unusual and enjoyable. As for my "sandwich of pork" (bocata de magro con tomato), this stew was exquisitely cooked. Personally I would have preferred a few green beans or some cous cous or arroz with it rather than more bread. Others had fish dishes which were not to my taste.We opted for sharing the surprise dessert (Corte Alicantino) whereupon the chef brought a plate of ice cream on a brioche type bun and promptly set alight to the top half! Quite a performance.The restaurant is in a basement down a flight of stairs. The walls are adorned with customer comments - you are invited to add your own. A fun meal which takes time as a small staff and tiny kitchen. So do choose a day when you are at your leisure and can enjoy a slow paced meal.Thanks somuch for your comment.We celebrate you enjoyed the Sotaterra experience. And we appreciate very much your suggestions.Just apologize again for the delay in the service, which is not usual at Sotaterra. As metioned our oven broke in the precise moment of serve you, so I had to "improvise" another technique to cook your dishes.Hope to see you soon.

We found this little restaurant by accident and were lucky enough to get a table. We both had different risottos and it's best I have ever had outside of Italy. Nice portions, beautifully presented ,we loved it so much we booked to come back our last night. We now wish we had gone another night, in fact we would probably eat there every night as in our opinion it was the best meals of our holiday. It isn't cheap and cheerful ...cheerful absolutely with great service and actually not expensive in quality. We don't have big appetites and usually just have a main course but as we both love arancini decided to share a starter.The lovely chef usually makes 3 as a starter but kindly made us 2 each.SO glad we had this as they were fabulous with gorgeous home made pesto. Perfectly cooked. I am returning in May and are going to be half board at the Canfali hotel where food is excellent BUT I will skip a dinner and eat here one evening. My friend and I will also be returning in November and this will be a must return to for dinner. I'm going to keep this short, because there is a plethora of glowing reviews about this amazing five table restaurant. That it compares with or exceeds the culinary experiences we've had at many famous destination dining spots is simply stunning when you consider that it's entire staff consists of the husband and wife team of Olivia and Fernando. The dining experience was exceptional, every dish was memorable. This restaurant is for those who adore great food. Just two tips. Make reservations and order their foie gras -- it will take you to gastronomic heaven.
