Went out for a meal with my husband, my sister and my brother-in-law. My sister suggested Pallas Athene.The food was absolutely fantastic. Had the gamba & garlic starter; main the Acropolis dish, consisting of grilled chicken, lamb rack, gyros and bifteki (with subtle mint and a feta filling) and of course some lovely tzatziki. For dessert I had the chocolate soufflé with vanilla ice cream.Every dish was full of flavours; clearly made with love for food.I will definitely be returning and can highly recommend going to this restaurant.Very attentive staff and owner, relaxee atmosphere. Free parking.

In the past we were offered an ouzo in this place when coming in, nice to loosen up the tongues!Not this time, other people did get it though, don't know why we didn't. No personal attention at all, one of the reasons I like to go to Greek restaurants is that the owner always makes one feel welcome, a little chatting, a friendly pad on the shoulder, not this time, not at all, pity.Food very mediocre, I had a very dry and tasteless trout and the misses had something with chicken, she thought the chicken was of a very poor quality, so, not again!

Delicious Greek food and generous portions. The restaurant has been renovated, is quite large! The owner/ manager loves speaking Greek to his customers...or to himself, and his English is good too. Home made food, but a pity they heated the feta-spinach rolls up in the microwave. House wine tasty.

It's a nicely decorated restaurant on one of the best locations in Almere (Haven); on the boulevard of the marina. It's a typical Greek restaurant, with typical Greek dishes, exactly what you would expect from a Greek restaurant. No more, no less.The place is very popular around here, also for people with a low income, it's pretty big and certainly in weekends the place is loaded. So you might want to make reservations when you are with more than two.

After our earlier dissapointment in Huizen we decided to go to the harbour in Almere because we wanted to eat at the waterside. Well there is a small harbour in front and there are many restaurants you can choose from and this place looked good and friendly. We had made the right decision cause the waitress came straight on with some welcome ouzo and brought us the menu. I choose the Athene dish and my mom the Aris and it tasted very good. My hubby enjoyed a baklava for dessert and we had some fresh fruit with whipped cream. All very tasty and nice and friendly staff. And good food for affordable prices.
